本発明は、遊技領域が形成される遊技盤に、複数の識別情報を変動表示する変動表示ゲームを行う中央表示装置を配設した遊技機に関する。

従来より、弾球式の遊技機においては、遊技者の興味を惹く比較的大型の遊技装置であるセンター役物(可動翼片型中央入賞装置や中央表示装置など)が遊技領域の中央部に設けられている。センター役物が大型化すると、それだけ遊技領域における遊技球の流下できる領域が少なくなり、遊技球の流下経路が単調となってしまうため、遊技領域を流下する遊技球をワープ入口から遊技盤の裏面側へ一旦導き、ワープ入口から隔たったワープ出口より出す球流路、所謂ワープ通路を設け、遊技者の興趣を高めるような遊技機がある(例えば、特許文献1,特許文献2参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した従来の遊技機においては、センター役物にワープ通路を設けるための部材を別途必要とし、そのワープ通路の形成位置を含めて、センター役物の物理的構造を設計しなければならないため、その制約を受けて自由な設計を行えないという問題があった。しかも、複数の識別情報を変動表示する変動表示ゲームの可能な中央表示装置にワープ通路を設ける場合、比較的大型の表示装置本体があるために、ワープ通路を形成する際の自由度は一層低いものとなってしまう。

加えて、中央表示装置を有する遊技機では、変動表示ゲームを遊技者へ効果的に印象づけるべく、中央表示装置が更に大型化する傾向にあり、流下経路を多様化するためのワープ通路の必要性は高まっているものの、ワープ通路形成のための制約が大きく、ワープ通路形成のための構造が複雑化して中央表示装置の組み立て作業が非効率的となってしまう。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明に係る遊技機の実施形態を添付図面に基づき詳細に説明する。

遊技媒体としての遊技球を弾発する弾球遊技を行える遊技機(所謂パチンコ機)は、図1に示す遊技盤1を備える。この遊技盤1は弾球遊技の主体となるもので、ガイドレール2で囲まれた遊技領域3に各種の入賞口や遊技装置を設けると共に、非遊技領域などには各種ランプやLED等からなる装飾表示器を設けたものである。
