車両のシート構造として、例えば特許文献1に開示されているようなものがある。特許文献1の構造では、シートの座部の前部の横軸芯周りにシートの座部を揺動させて上下反転させ、シートの背もたれ部を前方に倒すことにより、シートの座部の裏面及びシートの背もたれ部の裏面を上方に向けた折り畳み状態が得られるように構成されている(特許文献1の図1の二点鎖線の状態参照)。
