Description

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a curtain and a side-stitching apparatus, in particular, to prevent light leakage due to the stitches of the side-stitching, to reduce the shear generated by the side-stitching in the case of a curtain made of thin fabric, A technique for preventing inconspicuousness, preventing misalignment between a core tape and a curtain fabric at the time of forming folds in the case of pleated curtains, and also making the awning thread inconspicuous in pleated curtains. .
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the curtain manufacturing process, a slightly hardened core tape made of polyester or the like is sewn over the entire width of the top of the curtain material with a cored sewing machine, and the curtain material is folded back so as to wrap the core tape. This work is called "Tenbushi". Then, the core tape is sewn between the curtain fabrics by a sewing machine. This work is called "Tenbushi sewing". Further, in the case of performing the top-down sewing, it is referred to as "top-down" including the top-down stitching, or is referred to as "top-down stitching".
[0003]
In general, the ceiling of a curtain is sewn to the top of the curtain material over the entire width. Then, the curtain fabric after the ceiling is folded in three windings from the top to the bottom in the width direction, and sewn along the inner edge of the front end of the folded portion by the ear stitch sewing machine. This work is called "ear stitching".
In the case of a curtain with folds, folds are sequentially formed on the curtain fabric where the ear stitching has been completed, and the folds are sewn by vertical stitching and side stitching by a fold stitch sewing machine. The process of sewing each fold with vertical stitching and horizontal stitching is called "fold stitching". Also, the entire operation from the formation of the folds to the sewing of the folds is called "pleating".
The folds are usually three or two folds. 2. Description of the Related Art A device that automatically forms folds on a curtain material, transports the folds to a sewing machine, and performs fold stitching is conventionally known (for example, see Patent Document 1).
[0004]
As described above, a typical curtain ceiling sewes the top of the curtain over the entire width. However, a curtain called a shading curtain, which is used to block light from entering the room even during the daytime, uses external light from the needle of the sewing needle formed along the seam when sewing with a sewing machine. In some cases, awning is not performed to prevent the leakage of the gas into the room.
Also, some curtains made of thin fabrics such as lace include wrinkles and shrinkage of the fabric that occurs along the thread of the alveolar stitch by performing the alveolar stitching (this is called "tray"). I hate something.
For curtains that do not embroider such as blackout curtains or curtains made of thin fabrics such as certain kinds of lace, after sewing the core tape, the curtain fabric is folded back so as to wrap the core tape, Ear stitching and fold stitching are performed without brace stitching.
[0005]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-2000-218081.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in the case of a light-shielding curtain or a curtain such as a certain kind of lace, in some cases, the top-and-bottom stitch is not performed in order to prevent light leakage and fray. Further, even with ordinary curtains, there is a demand for eliminating the need to perform the tented sewing because the tented sewing thread is easily conspicuous. However, if the awning is not performed, especially in the case of a curtain with folds, the position of the core tape and the curtain material is shifted when folding the fold into three or two ridges to form the folds. There may be wrinkles around it.
[0007]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and can prevent light leakage due to a stitch of a top-stitch sewing in a curtain. In the case of a pleated curtain, it is possible to prevent the core tape and the curtain ground from being displaced during the formation of the pleated curtain. It is intended to be inconspicuous.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a curtain, which comprises performing a bottom stitching process only on a predetermined portion of a fold of a curtain.
In this method of manufacturing a curtain, a part of a part to be folded or a whole part of a part to be folded is set as a predetermined part, and a ceiling stitch is performed only on the part. Then, after the bottom stitching process, the folds are folded in the form of folds and sewn with vertical stitching and side stitching. When the shirring process is completed, the sewing machine formed along the stitches of the top stitching The stitches of the needle are limited to the folds separated from the width of the curtain by the vertical thread, and do not appear at the width of the curtain. For this reason, light does not leak from the stitches of the side-stitching, and even in the case of the light-shielding curtain, external light does not enter from the stitches of the side-stitching. Also, in the case of curtains made of thin fabrics such as laces, the awning stitching process is limited to the folds of the curtain, so the vines (wrinkles and shrinkage) generated along the awning sewing thread are small. Can be prevented, or the occurrence of fray can be prevented. Then, since the seams are sewn at the folds, it is possible to prevent displacement of the core tape and the curtain fabric at the time of forming the folds. Further, since the thread of the awning appears only at the folds, it becomes inconspicuous.
[0009]
Further, according to the method for manufacturing the curtain, the position of the top side sewing thread from the top of the curtain can be the same as the side sewing thread of the pleat sewing. In such a case, the top stitch overlaps with the side stitch and is less noticeable.
[0010]
Further, in the curtain manufacturing method, the same dimension data of the curtain is input to both the control device of the sewing machine for the top side stitch and the control device of the device for the shirring process, and the top side Sewing and shirring can be performed. In this case, the dimension data of the curtain can be input to one of the devices and transmitted online to the other. Alternatively, the information may be input to an input device such as a personal computer installed separately from the two devices, and transmitted to each device.
[0011]
Further, the present invention is a curtain top sewing machine, comprising: a sewing machine for a ceiling stitch; and a control device for controlling the sewing machine based on the input dimension data of the curtain. According to the present invention, there is provided a curtain top stitching apparatus which performs a top stitch sewing process only on a predetermined portion of a fold portion of a curtain by the sewing machine based on the dimension data of the curtain. The use of this curtain top stitching apparatus enables the above-described method to perform the top stitch only at a predetermined portion of the fold portion of the curtain (a part or all of the fold portion).
