さらに、A群酸化物を4重量%以下、B群酸化物を8重量%以下、およびC群酸化物を5重量%以下含み、
A群酸化物が、Li 2 O、Na 2 OおよびK 2 Oよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であり、
B群酸化物が、MgO、CaO、SrOおよびBaOよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であり、
C群酸化物が、Sc 2 O 3 、Y 2 O 3 、La 2 O 3 、CeO 2 、Pr 2 O 3 、Nd 2 O 3 、Sm 2 O 3 、Eu 2 O 3 、Gd 2 O 3 、Tb 2 O 3 、Dy 2 O 3 、Ho 2 O 3 、Er 2 O 3 、Tm 2 O 3 、Yb 2 O 3 およびLu 2 O 3 よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であるビスマス系ガラス組成物。

【請求項6】 B群酸化物が、5重量%以下のMgO、6重量%以下のCaO、8重量%以下のSrOおよび10重量%以下のBaOからなる請求項5記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物。
【請求項7】 C群酸化物を0.1〜5重量%含む請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物。
【請求項8】 Al2O3を0.1〜2重量%含む請求項2または3記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物。
【請求項9】 B群酸化物を8重量%以下含む請求項3または8記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物。
【請求項10】 B群酸化物が、2重量%以下のMgO、0.1〜4.5重量%のCaO、0.1〜4.5重量%のSrOおよび4重量%以下のBaOからなる請求項9記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物。
【請求項11】 ZnOのB2O3に対する重量比が0.8〜2.8である請求項1および3〜7のいずれか1項に記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物。
【請求項12】 Al2O3のSiO2に対する重量比が0.5以下である請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物。
【請求項13】 ZnOのB2O3に対する重量比が1.1〜2.5である請求項2〜3、8〜10および12のいずれか1項に記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物。
【請求項14】 請求項1、3〜7および11〜12のいずれか1項に記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物からなる磁気ヘッド用封着部材。
【請求項15】 請求項2、8〜10および12〜13記載のビスマス系ガラス組成物からなるプラズマディスプレイパネル用封着部材。
【請求項16】 さらに、前記ビスマス系ガラス組成物に対し、低膨張セラミックスフィラーを重量比で0.01〜4含む請求項15記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル用封着部材。
【請求項17】 前記低膨張セラミックスフィラーは、コーディエライト、ウィレマイト、フォルステライト、アノーサイト、ジルコン、ムライト、β−ユークリプタイト、β−スポジュメン、クリストバライト、チタン酸バリウム、酸化チタン、酸化スズ、酸化アルミニウム、酸化ジルコニウムおよび石英ガラスよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項16記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル用封着部材。
