Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle door configured by joining a door sash portion and a door panel portion.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Sash doors are often used for automobile doors. Such a sash door uses a structure in which a substantially U-shaped door sash portion is joined to an upper end portion of a box-shaped door panel portion.
[0003]
By the way, in the door sash portion, since the end on the door panel portion side is joined to the inner surface of the door panel portion, a gap is generated between the inner surface of the door panel portion near the joining portion and the outer surface of the door sash portion (for example, Reference 1). In particular, since the door sash portion is assembled so as to be flush with the outer panel side of the door panel portion, a gap is easily generated between the door sash portion and the inner panel of the door panel portion.
[0004]
Since such a gap easily generates suction noise and transmits noise outside the vehicle, the gap is filled with a sealing material, often a gel-shaped sealing material.
[0005]
By the way, the gap is often large. For example, when a run channel having a step formed on a side wall is used as a door sash portion, a gap provided by the step is added to an initial gap amount, so that the portion becomes a large gap portion. However, if there is a large gap portion, even if the seal member is in the shape of a bell, if the seal material is applied to the gap, the seal material will fall into the gap as it is, and the portion will not be filled.
[0006]
For this reason, conventionally, in a vehicle door, a large portion of a gap between a door sash portion and a door panel portion has been left empty, and the other gap has been filled with a seal material.
[0007]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-36880
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if there is an open portion, the sealing of the gap becomes insufficient, so that problems such as generation of suction noise from the vacant gap and transmission of outside noise through the gap cannot be avoided.
[0009]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle door that can prevent a sealing material applied to a gap from dripping.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 has a configuration in which at least one of the door sash portion and the door panel portion has a closing portion that closes a gap formed between the door sash portion and the door panel portion. It was adopted.
[0011]
With this configuration, even if there is a large gap between the door sash and the door panel, most of the gap is closed by the closing part, leaving a slightly vacant gap. Thus, the entire area of the gap between the door sash and the door panel is filled.
[0012]
In the invention according to claim 2, in addition to the above object, the door sash portion is configured to have a sash inner member and a sash outer member so that the closing portion can be easily formed. And the closing part is integrally formed. That is, the structure is such that the closed part is formed in the small component.
[0013]
In addition to the above object, the invention according to claim 3 has a configuration in which the closing portion is integrally formed with the sash inner member by press molding so that the closing portion is easily formed.
[0014]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in addition to the above object, the pillar sash portion is a pillar sash portion of the front door so that a high mounting accuracy of the door mirror is secured, and the sash outer member of the pillar sash portion is provided with a door mirror. The mounting surface for installation was integrally formed by press molding.
[0015]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on one embodiment shown in FIGS.
[0016]
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a vehicle body of a vehicle, for example, a four-door vehicle, and reference numeral 2 denotes an entrance formed on a side portion of the vehicle body 1. The entrance 2 includes, for example, a front pillar 3 having a triangular window 3a assembled thereto, a roof rail 4 (part forming a side portion of the roof) connected to an upper end of the front pillar 3, and a side sill 5 connected to a lower end of the front pillar 3. It is formed from the enclosed space. A side-opening sash door (vehicle door), for example, a front door 6 is attached to the entrance 2 so as to be freely opened and closed.
[0017]
The main body of the front door 6 has a structure including a door panel 7 for covering the lower side from the belt line and a substantially U-shaped door sash 8 protruding upward from the upper end of the door panel 7. The door panel portion 7 is formed by joining a door inner panel 9 and a door outer panel 10 as shown in FIG. 2, for example, to form a flat box shape having a slit-shaped window raising / lowering opening 10a at an upper end portion. . In addition, a window elevating mechanism for elevating and lowering a door window (not shown), a door lock mechanism for locking / unlocking the front door 6 and the like are built in the door panel unit 7 (both are not shown). Here, reference numeral 11 denotes an opening / closing handle provided on the outer surface of the front door 6.
[0018]
The door sash portion 8 is a wide front sash portion that is a front pillar sash portion that rises from a front upper end portion of the door panel portion 7 across a window elevating opening 10a extending in the vehicle front-rear direction and extends in the vehicle vertical direction from the front of the vehicle, The door panel 7 includes a rear sash 13 rising from the upper end rear of the door panel 7 and an intermediate sash 14 disposed between the sashes 12, 13. These sash portions 12 to 14 have a shape following the edge shape of the entrance 2. The sash space surrounded by the sash portions 12 to 14 is opened and closed by a door window (not shown) that moves up and down from the window elevator 10a.
[0019]
The door sash portion 8 has a structure in which, for example, portions divided into respective portions are joined. That is, the door sash portion 8 is divided into a front sash portion 12, an intermediate sash portion 14, and a rear sash portion 13, and the front sash portion 12 is formed of a part formed by press molding. The part 13 is formed of a part formed from roll forming. Then, these parts are joined by oblique butt welding to form the entire shape of the door sash portion 8. FIG. 2 is a view of the joining portion between the front sash portion 12 and the intermediate sash portion 14 as viewed from the vehicle interior, FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the front sash portion 12, and FIG. FIG.
[0020]
Describing the structure of each part, the rear sash part 13 and the intermediate sash part 14 each use a part formed by roll forming. More specifically, each component is formed from a single long panel by, for example, a member having a uniform cross section shown in FIG. 5B, for example, an elongated plate portion 16 forming a parting part with the vehicle body 1. It has an outer side and a run channel portion 17 through which a door window (not shown) enters and exits. A run channel portion 17 is located on the opposite side of the run channel portion 17 to form a seal for the edge of the entrance 2, that is, a door seal. An elongated roll formed product having a U-shaped seat portion 19 to which a weather strip 18 (shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 4) is assembled is used. The run channel portion 17 is a portion to which a window seal member 17a (shown by a two-dot chain line in FIGS. 3 and 4) for sealing a door window is mounted.
[0021]
The front sash 12 has, for example, as shown in FIG. 4, a seat 21 formed by a slanted base portion having an L-shaped cross-section that is inclined forward and to which a weather strip 18 is assembled at the front of the vehicle. A pillar structure is used which has a run channel portion 22 substantially parallel to the side sash portion 13 and closes an open portion between the forwardly inclined seat portion 21 and the run channel portion 22 with a panel portion. The column structure includes, for example, a substantially square sash inner panel 23 (corresponding to a sash inner member) and a sash outer panel 24 (corresponding to a sash outer member) formed by press molding as shown in FIGS. Is used in a closed cross-sectional shape. Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, the sash inner panel 23 is an L-shaped panel formed by integrally forming a forwardly inclined seat portion 21 on one side of a panel portion 23a by press molding. Formed from parts. The sash outer panel 24 is formed from an L-shaped part in which a panel portion 24a and a run channel portion 22 having a substantially U-shaped cross section are integrally formed on a side portion of the panel 24a opposite to the seat portion 21 by press molding. I have. The run channel portion 22 has a shape in which the opening end sides of both side walls 22a in the width direction are stepped from other portions (the same shape is for holding the window seal member 17a). The two parts are combined so that the cross section becomes square, and the combined part is fixed by joining, for example, arc welding and hemming together (closed cross section structure). A mounting surface for a door mirror, for example, a recess, is formed on the plate surface of the panel portion 24a of the sash outer panel 24 by press molding so that a mounting seat 26a (shown in FIG. 1) of the door mirror 26 is mounted on the panel portion 24a. A square mounting surface 25 is formed.
[0022]
The door sash portion 8 matches the upper end portion of the front sash portion 12 and the front end portion of the intermediate sash portion 14, and the rear end portion of the intermediate sash portion 14 and the upper end portion of the rear sash portion 13 with each other. Joined by butt welding to form a U-shape. The door sash portion 8 includes a mounting portion provided at a lower end portion of the sash inner panel 23, for example, a mounting piece 23 b extending downward from a lower end portion of the panel 23 and extending in the front-rear direction of the door, and a rear sash portion 13. An attachment piece (not shown) formed so as to protrude downward from the inside together with the belt line reinforcement 27 is joined to the inner surface of the door panel portion 7, specifically, the inner surface portion of the door inner panel 9 below the belt line. Thereby, it is assembled to the upper end of the door panel portion 7. The assembling is performed such that the outer sides of the front sash portion 12 and the rear sash portion 13 and the door outer panel 10 are flush with each other.
[0023]
On the other hand, one of the door sash portion 8 and the door panel portion 7 of the front door 6, for example, the door sash portion 8, has an upper end portion (on the belt line) of the door panel portion 7 between the door panel portion 7 and the door sash portion 8. (Because the end of the door sash is joined to the inner surface of the door panel below the belt line), specifically, between the sash inner panel 23 of the front sash 12 and the door inner panel 9 of the door panel 7. A closing portion 29 for closing a gap generated therebetween is formed. The closing portion 29 has, for example, a structure in which the entire area of the gap formed between the sash inner panel 23 and the door inner panel 9 is not closed, but a step portion 22b which is locally large due to the step portion 22b of the run channel portion 22. A structure for closing a gap α (a gap where the amount of the gap is larger than other portions) generated between the upper end of the door inner panel 9 and the door inner panel 9 is adopted. Specifically, for example, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 7, the closing portion 29 is a run channel portion of the mounting pieces 23 b forming the sash inner panel 23 of the front sash portion 12 (front pillar sash portion). A structure in which a substantially inverted L-shaped small protruding piece 30 is formed by using press forming of the sash inner panel 23 at an upper end portion corresponding to the step portion 22b of 22 is used. More specifically, the small projecting piece 30 is formed by first forming a strip-shaped small piece projecting upward by press molding as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. A structure of being bent toward 22b is used. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the rising dimension of the small protruding piece 30 is set to a dimension such that the leading end is disposed on the belt line, and the square portion of the bent leading end is a step formed by the step 22b. The width and depth (length) are set to be suitable for blocking the space. That is, when the sash inner panel 23 and the sash outer panel 24 are combined with each other, the small protrusion 30 blocks the step space of the step portion 22b. When the door sash portion 8 is joined to the inner surface of the door panel portion 7 by the same structure, the gaps α and β between the lower end portion of the front sash portion 12 and the door inner panel 9 as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 4, a region without a large gap, that is, a large gap α is closed by the small protruding piece 30, and an L region where only a slightly vacant gap β remains.
[0024]
Therefore, the gap between the sash inner panel 23 and the door inner panel 9 including the periphery of the small projection 30 as indicated by the three-dot chain line in FIG. There is no portion where a member (not shown) sags and falls. That is, the sealing material applied to the gaps α and β can be prevented from dripping.
[0025]
Therefore, by applying a seal-shaped sealing material (not shown) to the gaps so as to fill the gaps α and β, even if there is a large gap in the same portion, the sealing material does not drop and the front sash portion 12 does not fall. The entire area of the gaps α and β between the (door sash part) and the door panel part 7 can be filled with a sealing material, thereby preventing the generation of suction noise and the transmission of noise outside the vehicle due to the gaps α and β being empty. can do.
[0026]
Moreover, the small protruding piece 30 is formed integrally with the sash inner member of the door sash portion 8 as a small component, and particularly, is integrally formed with the sash inner panel 23 of the front sash portion 12 (front pillar sash portion) as a small component. So it is easy to form. In addition, since the small protruding piece 30 employs a structure formed by press molding together with the formation of the sash inner panel 23, the small protruding piece 30 can be easily formed.
[0027]
The sash outer panel 24 of the front sash portion 12 is formed with a mounting surface 25 for mounting the door mirror 26 by press molding, so that a high mounting surface accuracy is secured, and the door mirror 26 can be mounted with a high mounting accuracy. it can.
[0028]
In the above-described embodiment, an example is described in which the small protruding piece as the closing part is formed on the sash inner member of the front pillar sash part. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the reference numeral 30a in FIGS. As shown by the two-dot chain line, a small projection on the door panel portion 7 side, specifically, for example, an inverted L-shaped small portion for closing a gap between the step portion 22b of the run channel portion 22 and the upper end portion of the door inner panel 9 The same effect can be obtained by providing the projection 30a. Of course, a structure in which small projections are provided on both sides may be used. In the above-described embodiment, a small protruding piece bent in an inverted L-shape is employed as the closing portion. Further, the closing portion may be structured to close not only the enlarged gap portion but also other gaps. Further, the present invention may be applied to, for example, a rear pillar sash portion of a rear door, instead of the front pillar sash portion of the front door.
[0029]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the gap formed between the door sash portion and the door panel portion is only a slightly vacant space due to the closing portion. The sealing material can be prevented from falling off.
[0030]
Therefore, even if a large gap is generated between the door sash and the door panel, the entire area of the gap between the door sash and the door panel is filled with the sealing material applied to the gap without dripping. Thus, it is possible to prevent the generation of the draft sound and the transmission of the noise outside the vehicle due to the gap.
[0031]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the closing portion is formed integrally with a small component such as a sash inner member, there is an effect that the formation is easy.
[0032]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, since the closing portion is formed in the sash inner member by press molding, it is possible to easily form the sash inner member.
[0033]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, there is an effect that the mounting surface accuracy of the door mirror can be further improved.
