Abstract
【解決手段】暖房/換気及び空調(HVAC)システムの温度を検出して制御するためのシステム及び方法において、赤外線センサを使用する。赤外線センサは、冷点が発生し得る蒸発器表面上の幾つかの異なった領域にわたって温度を検出するために使用される。さらに好ましくは、赤外線センサは、蒸発器の空気出口側の表面全体を連続的に走査する。検出温度を使用して、蒸発器表面上に動的に発生し得る冷点を検出することができる。システムは、検出温度に応じて制御される。

Claims (16)
- HVACシステムの制御のために温度を検出するシステムであって、
表面を有する蒸発器と、
該蒸発器表面の複数領域の温度を検出するように構成された少なくとも1つの赤外線センサと、
前記蒸発器表面の前記複数領域の少なくとも1つで検出された温度が閾温度より低いか否かを決定するように構成されたプロセッサと、
前記蒸発器表面の前記複数領域の少なくとも1つで検出された温度が前記閾温度より低いか否かに関する決定に応じて、HVACシステムの動作を制御するように構成された制御装置と、
を備えたシステム。 - 前記複数領域は、前記蒸発器の空気出口側のほぼ全体を包含する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記蒸発器表面は、ラスタパターンで一行ずつ走査される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記蒸発器表面は、1つまたは複数のセンサで走査され、その各々が、前記複数領域の1つまたは複数での温度を検出する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御装置は、前記蒸発器表面の前記複数領域の少なくとも1つで検出された温度が前記閾温度より低いと決定された時、HVACコンプレッサの性能を制限する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記所定温度は、0℃である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 蒸発器、コンデンサ及び制御装置を備えた空調システムにおいて、
蒸発器表面の複数場所の温度を赤外線センサで検出すること、
前記複数場所の温度を所定温度と比較すること、及び、
該比較に応じて前記システムを制御すること、
を含む方法。 - 前記検出することは、前記蒸発器の空気出口側のほぼ全体を走査することを含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記システムを制御することは、前記場所の少なくとも1つが前記所定温度以下である場合、コンプレッサをオフにすることを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記所定温度は、0℃である、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記空調システムは、車両内の空気温度を調整する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 空調システムを制御するための装置であって、
蒸発器表面の複数場所の温度を検出するように構成された赤外線センサと、
前記複数場所の温度を所定温度と比較する手段と、
前記比較に応じて前記システムを制御する手段と、
を備えた装置。 - 前記赤外線センサは、前記蒸発器の空気出口側のほぼ全体を走査するように構成されている、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記制御する手段は、前記場所の少なくとも1つが前記所定温度以下である場合、コンプレッサをオフにする手段を有する、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記所定温度は、0℃である、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記空調システムは、車両内の空気温度を調整する、請求項12に記載の装置。
