本発明は、パチンコ機、アレンジボール機、雀球遊技機等の弾球遊技機に関し、より詳しくは、いわゆる第3種始動口と呼ばれる特別始動口装置を備えた弾球遊技機に関するものである。

弾球遊技機の中には、いわゆる権利物と呼ばれる第3種パチンコ機がある。この種の弾球遊技機は、本発明の実施形態を示す図5のように、遊技球が特別装置36の内部に設けられた、いわゆるVゾーンと呼ばれる特別装置作動領域(図示略)を通過したときに遊技者に有利な利益状態を生ぜしめ、該利益状態において、特別始動口装置1に遊技球が入賞する度に大入賞口装置40を所定期間作動させることを所定回数繰り返し、遊技者に多大な利益を還元するようになっている。(例えば下記特許文献1参照)。

一般に、弾球遊技機の製造メーカは、弾球遊技機の出荷前に各遊技部品が正常に動作するか否かを確認するため、種々の検査を実施している。このような検査の1つに、入賞口装置(例えば図5の特別始動口装置1、特別装置36、第1普通入賞口装置37、第2普通入賞口装置38及び大入賞口装置40など)へ遊技球を投入して、弾球遊技機の各種遊技部品(例えば図4の音声出力装置31、図5の液晶表示装置34及び電飾装置41、図6の払出し装置42など)が所期の動作を行なうか否かを確認する作業がある。

上記の如く、図10の特別始動口装置56は、特別始動口55への入賞に基づく前記遊技部品の動作確認をするに際し、誘導体51が所定角度回転するのを待たないと、特別始動口55に遊技球を入れることができなかったので、確認作業の効率が悪かった。

一方、図11の特別始動口装置61は、特別始動口としての入賞口装置60と、遊技球を所定の周期で入賞口装置60へ案内する停留案内装置58とを別体に構成しているので、特別始動口装置61の前側から入賞口装置60へ遊技球を直接投入でき、上述した問題は生じない。しかし、停留案内装置58と入賞口装置60に分割した分だけ部品点数が多くなるために遊技盤への取付けに手間がかかり、しかも構成部品58,60を別々に製造する必要があるから製造コストが嵩むという問題や、遊技釘59及び入賞口装置60の分だけ特別始動口装置61が縦長になり、遊技領域が制約されるといった問題があった。

本発明はかかる課題に鑑み創案するに至ったものであって、その目的は、製造コストや遊技盤面への取付けの手間がかからないように一体に構成すると共に特別始動口への入賞に基づく動作確認を容易に実施できる特別始動口装置を備えた弾球遊技機を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の弾球遊技機は、大入賞口装置が作動可能な利益状態において、特別始動口装置の遊技球検出結果に基づき前記大入賞口装置を作動させ、遊技球が前記大入賞口装置へ入賞し易い状態を所定期間生ぜしめる弾球遊技機において、前記特別始動口装置を、外周部に遊技球が通る入口を設けた入賞ケースと、前記入賞ケースの内側で前記入口に隣接して回動する誘導体とで構成すると共に、前記入賞ケースの内側領域であって前記誘導体の半径方向外側領域に遊技球が入る特別始動口を露出開口させ、前記誘導体で受止めた遊技球を前記誘導体の回動により前記特別始動口まで誘導することを特徴としている。

本発明の上記構成によれば、前記特別始動口装置が、1つの遊技部品として構成されているので、製造コストや遊技盤への取付け作業の手間がかからず、しかも前記特別始動口装置の前面側に前記特別始動口が露出しているので、前記誘導体の動作に関係なく遊技盤の前方から前記特別始動口へ遊技球を投入でき、弾球遊技機の出荷前に特別始動口への入賞に基づく動作確認を実施することが容易になる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照しつつ本発明の実施形態について説明する。なお、本実施形態では、弾球遊技機として第3種パチンコ機を用いることとする。

図1乃至図3は、本発明の第1実施形態に係る弾球遊技機の主要部である特別始動口装置1を例示しており、図1において、2は遊技盤3の前面側から突設された入賞ケース2である。この入賞ケース2の内側に誘導体4を回動自在に装着し、この誘導体4の裏側に隠れないようにその下方に前方開口の特別始動口5を形成している。そして遊技球6(以下、単に「遊技球」と称する。)を遊技盤3の前面側から特別始動口5へ直接投入できるようになっている。

以下、特別始動口装置1の各構成要素(入賞ケース2、誘導体4、装置本体8、電動モータ9、近接スイッチ10)について詳述する。

入賞ケース2は、図1乃至図3のように、遊技盤3の表面を構成する平板部11に、誘導体4に接続する駆動軸12の軸受部となる軸孔13及び前方開口の特別始動口5を形成し、かつ、平板部11に装着した誘導体4及びその下方の特別始動口5を囲繞するように枠部14を突出形成した部材である。枠部14の上部には入口15が形成されている。入口15の幅Wは、遊技球の直径をDとすると、例えばD<W<2Dの範囲である。また、枠部14の前面側には、遊技の演出その他の用途に供する電飾装置としての複数のLED16(一部にのみ符号を付す。)が特別始動口5を取り囲むように配設されている。このLED16は、例えば利益状態において、点灯箇所を誘導体4の回転方向に順次移動させることにより、誘導体4の回転角度(後述する誘導体4の入出口17の位置)を遊技者に報知することができる。

誘導体4は、図1のように、内径が遊技球の直径とほぼ等しい有底円筒体の外周面の一部を切り欠いて遊技球の入出口17を形成した部材で、その背面側の中心部には駆動軸12を接続し、例えば矢印Aの如く半時計回りに回動するようになっている。この誘導体4は、入賞ケース2の入口15に隣接して装着され、その外周面と入賞ケース2の入口15とで遊技球を一時的に停留可能な停留部18を構成している。なお、誘導体4の内径をDとすると、内径DはD≦Dの範囲であれば十分であるが、特別始動口装置1の遊技盤から突出する入賞ケース2の小型化を図るためには、D≒Dとするのが望ましい。また、図1では、誘導体4として有底円筒体状の部材を示したが、内部に遊技球を格納できれば前後両面側を閉塞した円筒体状の部材でもよい。

装置本体8は、図2乃至図3のように、前端部に入賞ケース2の取付け箇所となるフランジ部19を有し、この前端部を除く大部分が遊技盤3に埋設される構造である。フランジ部19には、複数のボス孔(図示略)を形成してあり、入賞ケース2の背面側から突設したボス20を夫々前記ボス孔に挿嵌することにより入賞ケース2を装着するようになっている。また、装置本体8の左右両側部には、左右方向へ弾性変形可能な係止部21が設けられ、遊技盤3に穿設した取付け孔22に特別始動口装置1を挿し込むと、係止部21とフランジ部19の背面側上下部とで遊技盤3を挟み込んで固定するようになっている。一方、装置本体8の内部は、図2のように、中空状に形成され、その内底面が後端側へ向かって下方に傾斜した球通路7になっている。球通路7は、その前端側を入賞ケース2の特別始動口5と対応する位置に形成すると共に、出口23を装置本体8の後端部近傍の下面側に設けてある。そして、特別始動口装置1を遊技盤3に装着すると、特別始動口5から入球した遊技球が、図2の矢印aのように、球通路7を通って遊技盤3裏側の出口23から排出されるようになっている。

電動モータ9は、前端部に誘導体4の背面側に接続する駆動軸12を有し、誘導体4を所定速度若しくは可変速度で回転駆動する。可変速度で駆動する場合は図示外のモータ制御装置が付設される。

特別始動口装置1は、上記の如く、入賞ケース2の内側領域に前方開口の特別始動口5を設けたので、弾球遊技機の製造時に近接スイッチ10の遊技球検出結果に基づく各種遊技部品の動作確認をするに際し、誘導体4の回転角度に関係なく、特別始動口5へ遊技球を投入することが可能になり、確認作業の効率を向上できる。また、誘導体4として、内径が遊技球の直径とほぼ等しい有底円筒体状の部材を使用することで、入賞ケース2の内側領域であって誘導体4の半径方向外側領域に特別始動口5を設けても、特別始動口装置1の上下左右方向の寸法を小さく形成でき、遊技盤3に穿設する取付け孔22を小径に形成すると共に遊技領域33(図5参照)における遊技球の落下経路を多様にすることができる。さらに、上下左右方向の寸法と比較して奥行きの長い構造になっているから、遊技盤3の前面側から挿入して装着することが容易である。

次に、図4乃至図6を参照しつつ上述した特別始動口装置1を備えた弾球遊技機についてパチンコ機を用いて説明する。

図4は、パチンコ機の正面図である。同図において、25は前枠で、その窓孔の前側には、ガラス扉26及び前面板27を開閉自在に装着し、裏側から遊技盤3を着脱自在に取付けてある。前面板27には遊技球貯留用の上皿28を形成し、前枠25の下部には下皿29、遊技球の発射手段を構成する操作ハンドル30及び音声出力装置としてのスピーカ31を設けてある。

遊技盤3の前面には、図5のように、発射手段30等により発射された遊技球を案内するガイドレール32が設けられ、このガイドレール32で囲まれた内側の領域が遊技領域33となっている。遊技領域33には、略中央の領域に液晶表示装置34、普通始動口装置35及び特別装置36を縦列に配置し、左側の領域には第1普通入賞口装置37、第2普通入賞口装置38及び遊技球の吐出口39を、右側の領域には特別始動口装置1及び大入賞口装置40を配置してある。また、前枠25や遊技盤3、或いは遊技盤面上の各種遊技部品34等には、適宜、電飾装置としてのLED41を設けてある。

液晶表示装置34は、遊技に関する情報を遊技者に報知するための手段である。例えば普通始動口装置35への入球に基づき特別装置36を作動させるか否かの判定結果を、図示の如く「1・2・3」など、3つの判定図柄の組合せで表示したり、その確定表示に至る変動過程を表示したりする判定図柄変動表示手段や、遊技球が判定図柄の変動中に普通始動口装置35へ入球した場合に上記判定結果の保留数(例えば最大4個)を遊技者に報知する保留数表示手段などとして機能する。なお、液晶表示装置34は、上記の手段に限らず、他の手段にも適用可能であるが、他の手段については周知であるから詳しい説明を割愛する。

普通始動口装置35は、図示外の復帰通路を介して吐出口39と連通しており、前記復帰通路に設けた図示外の検出手段(上記の近接スイッチ10と同様の部材)により遊技球の入球を検出するようになっている。また、吐出口39の下方には第2普通入賞口装置38を設けてあり、普通始動口装置35に入球した遊技球は、前記復帰通路を通って吐出口39から再び遊技領域33へ戻され、第2普通入賞口装置38へ向かって落下する。

大入賞口装置40は、ソレノイド等により開閉自在に構成され、利益状態において、特別始動口装置1の近接スイッチ10が遊技球を検出することを条件に作動し、作動開始から所定期間(例えば9.8秒)経過するか、或いは所定数(例えば10個)の遊技球が入賞した段階で閉塞する。この作動から閉塞までの一連の動作を所定回数(例えば15回)繰り返すと、利益状態が終了して通常状態に戻る。通常状態においては、特別始動口装置1の近接スイッチ10が遊技球を検出しても作動しなくなる。

主制御装置24は、普通始動口装置35に遊技球が入球すると、特別装置36を作動させるか否かを判定すると共に当該判定結果に基づき前記液晶制御装置、音声制御装置45及び電飾制御装置46に所定の制御信号を送信し、かつ、第1普通入賞口装置37、第2普通入賞口装置38、特別始動口装置1、特別装置36又は大入賞口装置40へ遊技球が入賞すると、払出し制御装置48へ所定の制御信号を送信する。また、特別装置36を作動させる旨の判定を下した場合には、特別装置36を所定期間作動させると共に前記特別装置作動領域を遊技球が通過したことに基づき遊技状態を通常状態から利益状態へと変更する。利益状態では、特別始動口装置1への入賞に基づき、払出し制御装置48への制御信号の送信と大入賞口装置40作動用のスイッチを所定期間(例えば9.8秒間)ONにする制御信号を図示外のソレノイドへ送信する。そして、大入賞口装置40が所定回数(例えば15回)作動すると、遊技状態を通常状態に戻す。

液晶制御装置44、音声制御装置45及び電飾制御装置46(以下、副制御装置という。)は、主制御装置24からの制御信号に基づき液晶表示装置34、音声出力装置31及びLED16,41(以下、制御対象物という。)が遊技状態に応じた動作を行なうように制御する手段である。ここでは、便宜上、特別始動口装置1に関連した副制御装置による制御対象物の動作制御についてのみ説明する。特別始動口装置1は、上記の如く、遊技球の入賞間隔が所定の周期(例えば10n秒(nは正の整数))になっているから、通常の遊技、即ちガラス扉26を閉じて遊技盤3の前方から遊技球を投入できない状態では、特別始動口装置1の近接スイッチ10の検出結果が得られる時間帯域の予測が可能である。仮に近接スイッチ10の検出結果が誘導体4の回転周期(例えば10秒)よりも短い時間間隔で得られたならば、特別始動口装置1の入賞ケース2や誘導体4などが破損しているか、或いはガラス扉26を開けて遊技盤3の前面から多数の遊技球を投入しているおそれがある。そこで、特別始動口装置1へ入賞したタイミングの正否判定手段を主制御装置24に付加することが考えられる。この正否判定手段は、例えば特別始動口装置1への入賞が所定の時間間隔(例えば10秒間隔)よりも短い時間間隔で所定数(例えば6個)以上得られた場合に、異常事態と判定するものである。ここで、遊技球の入賞数が所定数(例えば5個)以下であるときは、パチンコ機の出荷前に実施する特別始動口装置1の動作確認(入賞による払出しの確認)や、球詰まりなどで遊技を中断させられた遊技者に対して遊技店側のサービスでガラス扉26を開けて遊技球を投入することが想定できるため、異常事態の要件から除外している。このように主制御装置24が、特別始動口装置1へ入賞したタイミングの正否を判定すると共に該正否判定結果を副制御装置へ送信し、副制御装置に予め記憶している異常報知プログラムに基づき所定の制御対象物で異常事態を報知する。具体的には、異常事態が発生した旨を液晶表示装置34に表示したり、ブザー又は音声を発したり、LEDを点灯又は点滅させることで異常事態を報知する。

本発明に係る弾球遊技機は上記の如く構成され、従来例を示す図11の特別始動口装置61のように、誘導体4の動作に関係なく前方から遊技球を投入可能な特別始動口装置1を備えているので、出荷前に実施する特別始動口装置1の動作確認の手間を軽減することができる。弾球遊技機の動作確認は、例えば遊技盤3に遊技部品を取付けた後で、かつ、前枠25に遊技盤3を取付ける前に実施し、普通始動口装置35へ遊技球を投入して液晶表示装置34の動作確認を行なうと共に各種入賞口装置1,36,37,38,40へ遊技球を投入して遊技球の払出しが正常に行なわれるかを確認する。

また、図11のように、複数の遊技部品58,60を組合せて構成するのではなく、従来例を示す図10の特別始動口装置56のように、1つの遊技部品で構成しているので、特別始動口装置1を遊技盤3に取付ける作業に手間がかからず、しかも複数の遊技部品を組合せて構成したものと比較して製造コストの低減化を実現できる。

以上、本発明の一実施形態につき説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されることなく種々の変形が可能であって、例えば図7のように、入賞ケース2の内側領域の前方開口部分に適宜な意匠を施したカバー49を着脱自在に取付けることも可能である。この場合、弾球遊技機の出荷前にカバー49を取り外して遊技部品の動作確認を実施し、動作確認後にカバー49を装着して弾球遊技機の意匠上の自由度を増大させるができる。また、カバー49は、外周部の一部を枠部14に開閉自在に枢着し、入賞ケース2と一体に構成してもよい。
