CPU2には、バス3を介して主記憶装置としてのROM(リードオンリーメモリ)4およびRAM(ランダムアクセスメモリ)5が接続される。

For example, when the game process is started, if the player selects “New Game” (a mode in which a game is started from the beginning including game environment settings, etc.), a plurality of characters used during the game are assigned to different players. Processing is performed. In this game program CGP, it is possible to enjoy a game by assigning characters only to one player. However, as an example for explaining the feature of the present invention, an embodiment in which characters are assigned to a plurality of players is appropriate. Therefore, in this embodiment, only the case of assigning characters for a plurality of players will be described. Also, for the sake of simple explanation, two players P S , P F The case will be described.
[0021]
The CPU 2 reads the character selection program CSP constituting the subroutine of the game program CGP, calls character selection screen data (not shown) from the data area in the game program CGP shown in FIG. Thereafter, the player P S When playing the play contents of the log file LF or continuing the game from the saved data, the name NM S Is associated with the character data CD S Is called and character C selected first S Will be operated continuously. That is, the selected character C S Is player P S Assigned to.

When the control for assigning characters ends, the game mode is shifted to an actual game mode. In the game mode, only one player can play the game at a time. First, based on the game progress program GSP, the CPU 2 calls operation character selection screen data (not shown) from the data area in the game program CGP shown in FIG. For example, it can be expressed in various forms such as imaginary creatures such as monsters and fairies, anthropomorphic inanimate creatures such as robots, and simple objects such as stones and drops, as well as creatures such as humans and animals. . For example, the object is composed of a set of polygons when expressed in 3DCG, or is composed of sprites or the like when expressed in 2DCG, both of which are drawn together with a background image and displayed on the

[0030]
As the game starts, the CPU 2 reads the log file creation program LSP in the game program CGP, and at a predetermined time interval (for example, 1/60 second interval) from the start of the game mode, the cross key 14a and the
[0031]
For example, the player P S However, as shown in FIG. 2, it is assumed that the play contents are advanced in the order of A → B → C → D. At the point A that is the start point of the game mode, that is, the elapsed time t shown in FIG. A (It is not necessary to record the time in the actual log file LF, and the “elapsed time” shown in FIG. 3 is for convenience of explanation. Note that the elapsed time is recorded in the log file LF as another method. It is theoretically possible to)) Player P S Is operated by the
[0032]
Next, the elapsed time t shown in FIG. B Player P S When the operation signal SG2 is input by the operation, the operation character C is operated by this operation. S Enters a certain area in the game coordinate space (the point B shown in FIG. 2 is reached). The CPU 2 operates the operation character C based on the game progress program GSP. S Determines whether or not the user has entered the specific area every predetermined time, and the operation character C S A command CM1 (see FIG. 3 (a)) for starting a predetermined event is issued upon entering. Then, a module related to the predetermined event is executed based on the command CM1.
[0033]
By the way, the game progress program GSP advances the game according to preset game scenario data. The game scenario data has a predetermined branch, for example, the point B shown in FIG. 2 corresponding to the branch of the game scenario. , The game scenario is controlled to proceed in the route B → C or B → D. Therefore, based on the game progress program GSP, for example, the CPU 2 cannot advance to the point D unless the operating character fights and wins (that is, the game progresses to the point C and the game is over). The enemy character C shown in FIG. T Is placed in the game space and thus an image PC showing this B1 Is displayed on the

As a result of the battle, the operation character C S Is the enemy character C T Since CPU2 was defeated, for example, as shown in FIG. S Is enemy character C T Image PC showing the form defeated B2 Is displayed on the
[0035]
Thus, as shown in FIG. 2, as a scenario that proceeds in the order of A → B → C, the operation signals SG1,..., SG3 (SG3) shown in FIG. S ) Are sequentially recorded every predetermined time (when the operation signal SG is not input, a Null value is recorded). In order to increase the efficiency of access time, the log file LF is recorded in the

Furthermore, the operation character C F Is the character C as described above. S For example, the character C S Is moving along the route A → B shown in FIG. F Character C F It is possible to arrive at the point B shown in FIG. As already described in the previous play content, the character C S Is the enemy character C at point B T Encounter and battle, character C S Is defeated, so it reaches point C and the game is over.
[0044]
For example, the player P F Is the elapsed time t shown in FIG. B '(T shown in Fig. 3 (a) B When the operation signal SG20 is input through the
[0045]
After that, elapsed time t B , Character C during playback play S Reaches point B, but already has enemy character C T Since the game is defeated, no battle event is generated by the determination based on the game program CGP. That is, log file LF S Operation signal SG generated based on S Will not be accepted. The game progress program GSP is a log file LF S Operation signal SG generated based on S When the reproduction failure state is detected, the reproduction play control program RPP interrupts the reproduction play. Specifically, character C S Becomes a resting state at the point B. Thereby, it is possible to continue the game play without causing an abnormality of the game program CGP.
[0046]
Player P F Is the operation character C F Go to point D to save and end game play. This player P F As shown in FIG. 3B, the log recording in the play by the operation character C is first performed. F Operation signal SG for F (Signal received and received from the controller 14) is the log file LF S Recorded as'. Character C S Operation signal (log file LF S Signal generated based on log file LF S Is overwritten as.
[0047]
After that, the player P S But player P F In the same manner as above, select “Load Game” and log file LF from the
[0048]
As a result, it is possible to play and play characters other than the player who is operating, and to make them exist and act in the same game space as their own operating characters, thereby realizing communication between players. For example, as described above, the father can reproduce the log file LF played by the child and experience the play contents experienced by the child via the operation character of the father.
[0049]
In addition, the player can perform playback play according to the previous play contents of other players alternately at intervals of time, and a plurality of players can communicate at intervals of time. For example, as described above, the father and the child can play back each other's play contents alternately, branch the game scenario, and advance the game to communicate.
[0050]
In the game space of the play content to be played, the player can enjoy the play by operating the same character as the character played by the play.
[0051]
That is, the player P S When the character operated through the
[0052]
Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, an example of operation in which one player operates an operation character has been described. However, a plurality of (for example, two) players each operate a plurality of (for example, two) operation characters assigned thereto. It is also possible to do so. Thereby, each operation signal SG for these operation characters is recorded in the log file LF for each character in the order, and the actions of the plurality of characters can be reproduced by reproduction play.
[0053]
For example, a player other than the father and son plays the operation character C F , C S The log file LF in which each operation signal SG is recorded is reproduced. In the game space by play play, together with the operation characters assigned to other players, the character C F , C S Is placed. The other player operates his / her operation character to display the parent / child figure (that is, the operation character C). F , C S ) Can be taken with a camera (items in the game), and the fun of the game can be enhanced.
[0054]
In the above-described embodiment, the present invention has been described as a game program. However, any software program including various programs CSP, RPP,... In the game program CGP and hardware that allows the software to function are described above. Of course, the present invention can be applied to the
