Abstract
Description
【0001】

An object of the present invention is to provide a pump module that can be reduced in size while maintaining the performance of the pump and that is easy to assemble, in a pump module provided in a fuel tank.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a pump module A disposed in a conventional fuel tank is provided with a suction filter B disposed at the bottom of the fuel tank, and a fuel filtered through the suction filter B and filtered. A fuel pump C for providing a suction / delivery output for discharging, a discharge section E for sending out the suctioned fuel to a filter chamber D for further filtering, a filter F disposed in the filter chamber D, And a delivery pipe G for discharging the fuel filtered by the filter F toward the engine.
[0003]
To assemble the pump module A, as shown in FIG. 5, an inner disposing member including a suction filter B, a fuel pump C, and a discharge part E is replaced by a filter chamber D in which a filter F is disposed and a delivery pipe. The inner arranging member is mounted in the cylindrical space S of the cover member constituted by G.
Therefore, the cover member has a substantially cylindrical shape with an open bottom in order to dispose the inner disposition member in the space S, and inserts and mounts the inner disposition member from the bottom side. ing.
[0004]
In the mounting means, after the inner disposition member is mounted, in order to prevent the inner disposition member from falling off from the cover member, a fall prevention holder H is fitted and fixed from outside the bottom of the cover member. I have. Since a suction filter B having a large flat surface area for filtering fuel and having a large surface area for filtering fuel is formed at a lower portion of the inner disposing member, a notch portion I is formed at the bottom of the fall-off prevention holder H, and the notch portion is formed. The part I is inserted into the connection part J between the suction filter B and the fuel pump C, mounted from the lower end side of the cover member, and fixed to the cover member.
