Description
【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項1】 間隔をあけた第1および第2基板を備え、前記第1および第2基板の少なくとも一方はその上にコーティングシステムを有し、
前記コーティングシステムは、
a)厚さが310〜350Åの第1窒化ケイ素含有層、
b)厚さが10〜20Åの第1NiCr含有層、
c)厚さが52〜62ÅのAg含有層、
d)厚さが10〜20Åの第2NiCr含有層、および
e)厚さが390〜440Åの第2窒化ケイ素含有層、
を含み、前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記一方の基板を593〜788℃で熱処理した後、その基板側から見たとき、ΔE* abが4.0より小さく、かつ、Δa*が0.5より小さいコート製品。
【請求項2】 前記Ag含有層は、前記第1および第2NiCr含有層の各々と接触してなる請求項1に記載のコート製品。
【請求項3】 前記第1窒化ケイ素含有層は前記少なくとも一方の基板と接触し、前記第1NiCr含有層は前記第1窒化ケイ素含有層と前記Ag含有層との間に直接配置されてなる請求項2に記載のコート製品。
【請求項4】 前記第1および第2基板はガラスからなり、前記第1および第2窒化ケイ素含有層はSi3N4からなる請求項1に記載のコート製品。
【請求項5】 前記第1および第2NiCr含有層が実質的に酸化されておらず、かつ、実質的に窒化されていない請求項1に記載のコート製品。
【請求項6】 前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記一方の基板は熱処理され、前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記一方の基板は、前記熱処理の前に、a*が-2.6〜-6.0で、かつ、b*が-3.5〜-9.5である色を有する請求項1に記載のコート製品。
【請求項7】 前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記一方の基板は、熱処理後、その基板側から見たとき、ΔE* abが4.0より小さく、かつ、Δa*が0.5より小さく、前記コーティングシステムは熱処理前より熱処理後の方が少なくとも4%大きい可視光透過率を有する請求項6に記載のコート製品。
【請求項8】 コーティングシステムをその上に有する少なくとも1つのガラス基板を備え、前記コーティングシステムは第1と第2の絶縁層の間に配置された銀(Ag)含有層を含み、前記コーティングシステムの可視光透過率が少なくとも4%増大し、かつ、その上にコーティングシステムを有する基板を基板側から見たときΔE* abが5.0より小さくなり、かつ、Δa*が約0.8より小さくなるように、前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記ガラス基板が593〜788℃で熱処理されてなるコート製品。
【請求項9】 前記コートされた基板は、基板側からみたとき、熱処理によって、ΔE* abが4.0より小さくなり、かつ、Δa*が0.5より小さくなる請求項8に記載のコート製品。
【請求項10】 コーティングシステムをその上に有するガラス基板は、熱処理前に、a*が-2.6〜-6.0で、かつ、b*が-3.5〜-9.5である色を有する請求項8に記載のコート製品。
【請求項11】 前記第1と第2の絶縁層は各々窒化ケイ素を含有する請求項8に記載のコート製品。
【請求項12】 コーティングシステムをその上に有するガラス基板を備え、前記コーティングシステムは一対の絶縁層の間に配置されたAg含有層を有し、その上にコーティングシステムを有する前記基板は、593〜788℃の温度で熱処理される前に、a*値が-2.6〜-6.0で、かつ、b*値が-3.5〜-9.5で定義される色を有し、コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記基板は、593〜788℃の温度で熱処理後、その基板側から見たとき、ΔE* abが5.0より小さく、かつ、Δa*が0.8より小さいコート製品。
【請求項13】 コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記基板は、熱処理後、その基板側から見たとき、ΔE* abが4.0より小さく、かつ、Δa*が0.5より小さく、その熱処理によってコーティングシステムの可視光透過率が少なくとも4%増大する請求項12に記載のコート製品。
【請求項14】 前記絶縁層は各々窒化ケイ素を含有し、コーティングシステムは、Ag含有層に直接接触してこれを間にサンドイッチする一対のNiCr含有層をさらに有する請求項12に記載のコート製品。
【請求項15】 前記ガラス基板と対になる第2基板をさらに有し、コート製品は、熱処理の前後ともに、そのガラス基板側から見たとき、裸眼に対して実質的に同じ色に見える請求項12に記載のコート製品。
【請求項16】 調和可能なガラス製品の製造方法において、一対の絶縁層の間にAg含有層を有するコーティングシステムをガラス基板上に付着させ、
前記コーティングシステムが、そのガラス基板側から見たときに5.0より小さいΔE* abと0.8より小さいΔa*を有するように、コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記ガラス基板を593〜788℃の温度で熱処理する工程を備える方法。
【請求項17】 前記コーティングシステムの可視光透過率が少なくとも4%増大するように、コーティングシステムをその上に有する基板を熱処理する工程をさらに備える請求項16に記載の方法。
【請求項18】 前記絶縁層がSi3N4を含有し、Ag含有層が一対のNiCr含有層の間にサンドイッチされてなる請求項16に記載の方法。
【請求項1】 間隔をあけた第1および第2基板を備え、前記第1および第2基板の少なくとも一方はその上にコーティングシステムを有し、
前記コーティングシステムは、
a)厚さが310〜350Åの第1窒化ケイ素含有層、
b)厚さが10〜20Åの第1NiCr含有層、
c)厚さが52〜62ÅのAg含有層、
d)厚さが10〜20Åの第2NiCr含有層、および
e)厚さが390〜440Åの第2窒化ケイ素含有層、
を含み、前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記一方の基板を593〜788℃で熱処理した後、その基板側から見たとき、ΔE* abが4.0より小さく、かつ、Δa*が0.5より小さいコート製品。
【請求項2】 前記Ag含有層は、前記第1および第2NiCr含有層の各々と接触してなる請求項1に記載のコート製品。
【請求項3】 前記第1窒化ケイ素含有層は前記少なくとも一方の基板と接触し、前記第1NiCr含有層は前記第1窒化ケイ素含有層と前記Ag含有層との間に直接配置されてなる請求項2に記載のコート製品。
【請求項4】 前記第1および第2基板はガラスからなり、前記第1および第2窒化ケイ素含有層はSi3N4からなる請求項1に記載のコート製品。
【請求項5】 前記第1および第2NiCr含有層が実質的に酸化されておらず、かつ、実質的に窒化されていない請求項1に記載のコート製品。
【請求項6】 前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記一方の基板は熱処理され、前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記一方の基板は、前記熱処理の前に、a*が-2.6〜-6.0で、かつ、b*が-3.5〜-9.5である色を有する請求項1に記載のコート製品。
【請求項7】 前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記一方の基板は、熱処理後、その基板側から見たとき、ΔE* abが4.0より小さく、かつ、Δa*が0.5より小さく、前記コーティングシステムは熱処理前より熱処理後の方が少なくとも4%大きい可視光透過率を有する請求項6に記載のコート製品。
【請求項8】 コーティングシステムをその上に有する少なくとも1つのガラス基板を備え、前記コーティングシステムは第1と第2の絶縁層の間に配置された銀(Ag)含有層を含み、前記コーティングシステムの可視光透過率が少なくとも4%増大し、かつ、その上にコーティングシステムを有する基板を基板側から見たときΔE* abが5.0より小さくなり、かつ、Δa*が約0.8より小さくなるように、前記コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記ガラス基板が593〜788℃で熱処理されてなるコート製品。
【請求項9】 前記コートされた基板は、基板側からみたとき、熱処理によって、ΔE* abが4.0より小さくなり、かつ、Δa*が0.5より小さくなる請求項8に記載のコート製品。
【請求項10】 コーティングシステムをその上に有するガラス基板は、熱処理前に、a*が-2.6〜-6.0で、かつ、b*が-3.5〜-9.5である色を有する請求項8に記載のコート製品。
【請求項11】 前記第1と第2の絶縁層は各々窒化ケイ素を含有する請求項8に記載のコート製品。
【請求項12】 コーティングシステムをその上に有するガラス基板を備え、前記コーティングシステムは一対の絶縁層の間に配置されたAg含有層を有し、その上にコーティングシステムを有する前記基板は、593〜788℃の温度で熱処理される前に、a*値が-2.6〜-6.0で、かつ、b*値が-3.5〜-9.5で定義される色を有し、コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記基板は、593〜788℃の温度で熱処理後、その基板側から見たとき、ΔE* abが5.0より小さく、かつ、Δa*が0.8より小さいコート製品。
【請求項13】 コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記基板は、熱処理後、その基板側から見たとき、ΔE* abが4.0より小さく、かつ、Δa*が0.5より小さく、その熱処理によってコーティングシステムの可視光透過率が少なくとも4%増大する請求項12に記載のコート製品。
【請求項14】 前記絶縁層は各々窒化ケイ素を含有し、コーティングシステムは、Ag含有層に直接接触してこれを間にサンドイッチする一対のNiCr含有層をさらに有する請求項12に記載のコート製品。
【請求項15】 前記ガラス基板と対になる第2基板をさらに有し、コート製品は、熱処理の前後ともに、そのガラス基板側から見たとき、裸眼に対して実質的に同じ色に見える請求項12に記載のコート製品。
【請求項16】 調和可能なガラス製品の製造方法において、一対の絶縁層の間にAg含有層を有するコーティングシステムをガラス基板上に付着させ、
前記コーティングシステムが、そのガラス基板側から見たときに5.0より小さいΔE* abと0.8より小さいΔa*を有するように、コーティングシステムをその上に有する前記ガラス基板を593〜788℃の温度で熱処理する工程を備える方法。
【請求項17】 前記コーティングシステムの可視光透過率が少なくとも4%増大するように、コーティングシステムをその上に有する基板を熱処理する工程をさらに備える請求項16に記載の方法。
【請求項18】 前記絶縁層がSi3N4を含有し、Ag含有層が一対のNiCr含有層の間にサンドイッチされてなる請求項16に記載の方法。
