【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は、ワッペンやステ
ッカー等の膨らみ装飾体製造方法に関する。

【従来の技術】衣服や帽子は、例えば、ワッペンが貼ら
れることで意匠製が高められている。この種ワッペンと
して膨らみを持った立体的なものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、従来品
のものはその膨らみがあまり大きくなく、立体感が乏し
いという問題点があり、また1個1個の膨らみをエア注
入等により作るので製造効率も良くなかった。
【0004】この発明は上記の問題を解消するように行
なったもので、立体感豊かなワッペン等の装飾体を製造
容易に提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明では、合成樹脂
シートよりなる大形の膨らみ部を持つ膨らみ構造体を作
り、この大形の膨らみ構造体の膨らみ部を熱プレス加工
により複数の小形の膨らみ部に分離するようにして膨ら
み装飾体を製造する。
【0006】上記製造方法によれば、大形の膨らみ構造
体から1工程の熱プレス加工により多数の膨らみ装飾体
が得られるので製造効率が優れる。また、大形の膨らみ
部を熱プレス加工により複数の小形膨らみ部に分離する
際には小形の膨らみ部それぞれにエアが押し込まれるよ
うになり、これにより膨らみが大きく立体感のある意匠
性に優れる膨らみ装飾体が得られる。

【発明の実施の形態】図1は装飾体1の切欠断面を含む
斜視図である。2は布等よりなる基材であり、その上面
に塩化ビニールシートよりなる英文字の模様パターン3
が固着され、その模様パターン3上に透明のウレタンシ
ートよりなる表面材5が、上方への膨らみ形状となるこ
とで模様パターン3との間に空間(小形の膨らみ部)4
を有するよう、その周縁が模様パターン3の周縁上に固
着されて付設されている。上記表面材5としては、表面
に微細凹凸模様7が形成されたものを使用しており、そ
の表面が乱反射して輝くようになっている。
【0008】以下、上記装飾体1の製造方法を図面を参
照して説明する。
【0009】[第1の工程]図2に示すように、一方の
電極となる金型台13上に、その表面が絶縁プレート1
4で覆われるとともに、開口12が設けられた金属枠体
16が設けられている。その開口12上にウレタンシー
ト15、塩化ビニールシート11を重ね状態に置く。開
口12の底部である金型第3面上には両面テープ17が
貼り付けられ、その両面テープ17に貼り付けることで
ウレタンシート15を開口12内に下方に湾曲して配置
する。そして、金属枠体16の開口12上縁の上に重な
り状態に位置するそれぞれのシート15、11の両周縁
を他方の電極である押さえ用金型19で押さえ、高周波
誘電加熱する。これにより、図3に示すような、空気層
(大形の膨らみ部)18を持つシート体(膨らみ構造
体)20が得られる。
【0010】図4に示すように、金型台13上に基材2
形成用の布体21を載置し、その上部に上記第1の工程
で得られたシート体20を載置し、その上方から他方の
電極となる押さえ及び切り抜き用金型22でプレスし、
高周波誘電加熱を行う(熱プレス加工)。上記押さえ及
び切り抜き用金型22には、図5に示すように、外側が
切断歯24、内側が押さえ部25となった型押し部23
が突出して設けられていて、まず、金型22が図5に示
す所定位置に下降されることで切断刃24が模様部分を
残すようにシート11、シート15のそれぞれを切断す
る。そして、さらにその位置で押さえ部25がシート1
1、シート15の周縁、更には布体21を重ねて押さえ
る状態で高周波誘電加熱を行い、それぞれを一体に固着
する。
【0011】これにより、図1に示すような、表面材5
と模様パターン3との間に空間4を持つ装飾体1が得ら
れる。とくに、その空間4は、第1の工程において、両
面テープ17に貼り付けることでウレタンシート15を
開口12内に下方に湾曲させるようにして形成したの
で、膨らみが大きく、これにより、装飾体1は立体的で
意匠的に優れたものとなっている。上記装飾体1は、基
材2面が衣服等に貼り付けられて使用されるが、基材2
が直接衣服等とされる形態としても実施できる。

【発明の効果】この発明によれば、膨らみが大きく立体
性に優れるワッペンやステッカー等の装飾体が製造容易
