In this type of coating booth, the mist of the paint that scatters is captured by contact with water. Therefore, the collection efficiency can be increased by increasing the chances of contact, and the cleaning of the exhausted air can be improved. It is possible to prevent air pollution and environmental pollution. In order to increase the contact between the mist and water, it is considered effective to increase the amount of water, increase the surface area of water, or the like, and generally use water droplets from a shower. In this case, the water droplets have a larger surface area as they become finer particles and the trapping effect can be enhanced with the same amount of water.

Further, the paint particles captured in the water droplets are returned to the water tank together with the shower water, and the paint particles are aggregated in a state of being separated from the water, and floated on the water surface as sludge to be collected. Normally, sludge floats on the entire surface of the aquarium, and its treatment is not easy as daily work. Therefore, in order to facilitate the collection of sludge, for example, a partition plate that creates a flow of shower drain so that it gathers in front of the aquarium is used. It is devised by arranging them. In addition, since the flow is directed to the water inlet of the pump, it is installed at a position where it can be easily treated, and a sludge recovery device is arranged.

A suction port for the air flow to be sucked into the processing chamber is formed so that the overspray mist is effectively sucked and trapped in the processing chamber. Further, among the sprayed overspray particles, the coating particles that have gone straight ahead collide with this water film and fall into the water tank together with water, and are captured in the same manner as in the shower.

A problem with such a water-washing type coating booth is that the sludge recovery occupies most of the daily work, which causes a decrease in efficiency in the original painting work. In addition, since a large amount of water flows, there is a problem of sound caused by the water flow. That is, the sound of water flowing down the water plate, passing through the suction port, and falling on the water surface becomes noise, which causes a decrease in the working environment such as discomfort of the operator. Also, the sound of water falling from the washing shower in the processing chamber into the water tank is similar.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] While maximizing the mist collecting effect, which is the basic function of a water-wash coating booth, the sludge generated as a result is not retained in the coating chamber, specifically, in the water tank. It is required to make it easier to collect and dispose of and to facilitate daily maintenance. Further, it is possible to prevent the generation of offensive odor due to the accumulation of sludge from the working environment as well, to reduce the noise caused by the water flow caused by the circulation of a large amount of water, and to obtain a coating room that is quieter and has a better working environment. It is an issue.
