【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 回路基板の端縁部をフード部内に突出し
て備えた基板側ハウジングと、 前記フード部に嵌合可能とされ、かつ嵌合状態において
前記回路基板上に設けられた端子部に接触可能な端子金
具を収容した端子側ハウジングとを備えたカードエッジ
コネクタであって、 前記基板側ハウジングには、前記端子側ハウジングとの
嵌合動作に伴って、前記フード部の開口を覆蓋する保護
位置から前記回路基板の端子部を露出させる退避位置へ
と変位可能な基板保護部材が設けられていることを特徴
とするカードエッジコネクタ。
1. A board-side housing having an edge portion of a circuit board projecting into a hood portion, and a terminal portion provided on the circuit board in a fitted state capable of being fitted to the hood portion. A card edge connector having a terminal-side housing accommodating a contactable terminal fitting, wherein the board-side housing covers the opening of the hood portion in accordance with a fitting operation with the terminal-side housing. A card edge connector comprising a board protection member that is displaceable from a protection position to a retracted position where the terminal portion of the circuit board is exposed.

グを嵌合状態から非嵌合状態へ離脱する動作に伴って前
記基板保護部材を前記退避位置から前記保護位置へと復
帰させる復帰手段が設けられていることを特徴とする請
求項1に記載のカードエッジコネクタ。
