The instrument panel 10 is mainly composed of a synthetic resin panel base material 11 injection-molded into a required shape. The instrument panel 10 is of a type composed only of the panel base material 11 and has a skin on the outer surface of the panel base material 11. It is roughly classified into a type in which the material 12 is adhered (corresponding to this in FIG. 7), a type in which a skin material and a cushion material are adhered to the outer surface of the panel substrate 11, and the like. Here, the panel base material 11 is formed of a relatively hard synthetic resin material such as PP (polypropylene) or ASG on the premise of the intended use of the instrument panel 10 in which various in-vehicle devices are mounted. Therefore, in the case of the air bag door 15 which is integrally formed on the panel base material 11 and always constitutes a part of the base material 11, a strong pressing force of the air bag 22 is generated especially at a low temperature. There is a risk of damage to the product when it is applied, which may cause problems in strength and safety. Therefore, an insert member 25 for connecting and supporting the panel base material 11 and the airbag device 20.
Is attached to the back surface of the airbag door 15 to prevent damage and scattering of the airbag door 15 and its peripheral parts.

In the insert member 25, the support panel 30 of the movable bracket 27 is firmly fixed to the tubular portion 28 of the fixed bracket 26, and is shown in FIG. 9 (a). As described above, the support panel 30 and the movable panel 31 are formed so as to be simply bendable at the bending fulcrum (hinge portion) 32, and when the airbag 22 presses the movable panel 31 from the inside, Movable panel 3
No. 1 was designed to open outward with the bending fulcrum 32 as the center. However, in the airbag door 15 having such a configuration, as shown in FIG. 9B, the outer edge line side end 15c of the door panel 15a (15b) to which the movable panel 31 is crimped interferes with the panel base material 11. As a result, the openable angle of each door panel 15a (15b) becomes small, which may impede the smooth inflation and deployment of the airbag 22. Moreover, when the inflating and deploying airbag 22 forcibly presses the movable panel 31 in the open regulation state, the door panel 15a (15b) is changed to the door panel 15a (15b) due to the interference between the end portion 15c and the panel substrate 11. There is a risk that the rib 33, which is pushed in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 2 and is used for crimping the door panel 15a (15b) and the movable panel 31, is damaged and the door panel 15a (15b) is separated and scattered from the movable panel 31. Be done.

The insert member 25 has a fixed bracket 26 and a movable bracket 27 as described above.
Instrument panel 1 since all are made of metal
In addition to causing a weight increase of 0, the movable panel 31
Since the opening inertial force of the door increases, the above-mentioned door panel 15a
It is also pointed out that there is an inconvenience that promotes separation and scattering of (15b).
Further, since the mounting of the insert member 25 to the panel base material 11 has to adopt a caulking method that requires a large number of man-hours, there is a problem that the cost increases, and the panel base material 11 made of the synthetic resin and the metal insert. Since the member 25 is made of a different material, it is pointed out that there are drawbacks such as poor recyclability.
