前記減圧脱泡槽の溶融ガラスの流路における横幅方向で中央の凸状の底面部の最上部から溶融ガラス表面までの最短距離を中央深さD1、横幅方向で両端の凹状の底面部の最下部から溶融ガラス表面までの最短距離を端深さD2とする時、中央深さD1は20〜500mmであり、かつ端深さD2は中央深さD1の1.1〜5.0倍であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の溶融ガラスの減圧脱泡装置。
【請求項3】
前記減圧脱泡槽の溶融ガラスの流路に、減圧脱泡により発生する気泡の下降管側への流出を止める役割を行う気泡せき止め具が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の溶融ガラスの減圧脱泡装置。

請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の減圧脱泡装置を用いた溶融ガラスの減圧脱泡方法。
