Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.重量%で以下の合金組成を有することを特徴とする、フォーミング及び/ 又はカッティング作業用の粉末合金法で製造した工具用スチール: (C+N): 合計1.4−1.6 Mn : max 0.6 Si : max 1.2 Cr : 3.5−4.3 Mo : 1.5− 3 W : 1.5− 3 ここで6<Weq<9でWeq=%W+2X%Mo V : 3.5−4.5 S : max 0.3 Cu : max 0.3 Co : max 1 (Nb+Ta+Ti+Zr+Al): 合計 max1.0 通常量の不純物と微量元素を含むその他元素: 合計0.5 バランス : 鉄 2.(C+N)を合計で1.44〜1.56%を含むことを特徴とする、請求 項1に記載のスチール。 3.C及びNの40〜60%が、第1級炭化物又はカルボー窒化物を意味する NX−タイプ(式中MはVであり、XはC及び/又はNである)の溶解しない硬 い生成物中に存在することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のスチール。 4.Sをmax0.03%含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1 項に記載のスチール。 5.Sを0.1〜0.3%を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか 1項に記載のスチール。 6.Crを3.8〜4.2%含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか 1項に記載のスチール。 7.前記Weqが、6、5≦Weq≦8.5、好ましくは7≦Weq≦8であ ることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のスチール。 8.Vを3.8〜4.2%含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項 に記載のスチール。 9.工具材料が、実質的にマルテンサイト系マトリックスからなり、該マトリ ックス中に0.1〜3μmの粒径を有する溶解しない硬い生成物が2〜15、好 ましくは5〜10容積%存在し、該硬い生成物はMX−タイプ(式中MはVで、 xはZ及び/又はNである)のものであり、ここで合金のC及びN含有量の40 〜60%が炭化物及び/又はカルボー窒化物として、バナジウムと結合しており ;かつ、1000〜1225°の温度におけるスチールの溶解熱処理及び190 〜580℃の温度で各回30分以上少なくとも2回焼戻し後のマルテンサイト系 マトリックス中に抽出した桟能量の硬い生成物を含む;微細構造を有することを 特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の組成を有するスチールから製 造した工具。 10.前記マルテンサイト系マトリックスが機能量のM2 X−タイプ(式中M はCr、Mo、W、V、Feからなる群に属する金属、特にMoとWであり、X はC及びNである)の硬い生成物を含み、この硬い生成物が、520〜570℃ の温度でスチールを焼戻すことによって得られる100μm未満のサイズを有す ることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の工具。 11.前記工具材料が、1000〜1100℃の温度でスチールを溶解熱処理 後、190〜250℃の温度で焼戻すことによって得られるM3X-タイプ(式中 Mは実質的にFe又はCrであり、XはC及び/又はNである)の硬い生成物を 桟能量含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の工具。 12.前記工具材料が、1100〜1200℃の温度から焼入れ、520〜5 70℃の温度で焼戻し後、62HRC以上の硬度と5.5KN/mm2以上の曲 げ強度を有することを特徴とする、請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載の工具 。 13.以下の(a)〜(f)を特徴とする、スチール及びその工具の統合的製 造方法: (a)請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の合金組成を有するスチールメルトを 調整し、 (b)該メルトから小滴を形成させ、該小滴を冷却して前記スチール合金の粉末 を形成させ、ここで粉末中に存在するMX−タイプ(式中Mは実質的Vであり、 XはC及び/又はNである)の硬い生成物は、この硬い生成物の合計量の90% 以上が0.1〜3μmの粒径を有する粒子からなり、 (c)熱アイソスタティック間圧縮からなる緻密化法によって該粉末を充分な密 度を有する物体に緻密化し、 (d)該物体を鍛造及び/又はロールによって熱間加工し、 (e)該鍛造及び/又は熱間ロールした生成物からソフトな焼きなましによって 望ましい形状の工具を作製し、 (f)該工具を1000〜1225℃の温度で溶解熱処理(オーステナイト化) によって、焼入れし、500℃以下に冷却してさらに50℃以下に続けて冷却し、 次いで190℃〜580℃の温度で焼戻しし、その結果この工具が請求項9〜1 2のいずれか1項の特徴とする部分に記載の微細構造をもつようになる. 14.重量%で下記の合金組成: (C+N): 1.4−1.6 Mn : max 0.6 Si : max 1.2 Cr : 3.5−4.3 Mo : 1.5− 3 W : 1.5− 3 ここで6<Weq<9、Weq=%W+2X%Mo V : 3.5−4.5 S : max 0.3 Cu : max 0. 3 Co : max 1 (Nb+Ta+Ti+Zr+Al): 合計 max1.0 通常量の不純物と微量元素を含むその他元素:合計0.5 バランス: 鉄 を有し、かつ、実質的にマルテンサイト系マトリックスからなり、該マトリック ス中に粒径が0.1〜3μmの溶解しない硬い生成物が2〜15、好ましくは5 〜10容積%存在し、この硬い生成物は、合金のC及びN含有量の40〜60% が炭化物及び/又はカルボー窒化物としてバナジウムと結合しているMX−タイ プ(式中)MはVであり、XはC及び/又はNである)のものであり、かつ、1 000〜1225℃の温度でのスチールの溶解熱処理及び190〜580℃の温 度で各回30分以上少くとも2回焼戻し後のマルテンサイト系マトリックス中に 抽出した桟能量の硬い生成物を含む;微細構造を有するスチールをフォーミング 及び/又はカッティング作業用の工具に使用すること。
