Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.複数の割当てチャンネルと少なくとも一つのグローバルチャンネルとを一つ の出力電力レベルで送信する手段と、 前記出力電力レベルをモニタする手段と、 前記割当てチャンネルの電力レベルを個別的に制御する閉ループ順方向電力制 御手段と、 前記出力電力レベルに応答して前記グローバルチャンネルの電力レベルを制御 する手段とを含み、前記グローバルチャンネルの前記電力を前記割当てチャンネ ルの全電力の正味変動値全部に応答して調節する基地局。 2.前記グローバルチャンネル電力制御手段が、前記モニタ手段に応答して前記 グローバルチャンネルについての所望の電力レベルを算出しその算出値に応答し て前記グローバルチャンネルの前記電力を調節するプロセッサをさらに含む請求 項1記載の基地局。 3.前記基地局からの距離riにおける所望の電力レベルPGが、所望のSN比をγ 、処理利得をN、全出力電力をPTでそれぞれ表したとき、次式 から算出される請求項2記載の基地局。 4.前記所望の電力レベルPGが、α=(λ2)/(4π)2であって、所望のSN比を γ、処理利得をN、白色雑音電力密度をNO、全送信電力をPT、送信帯域幅をW 、最大稼動範囲をR、搬送波周波数対応の波長をλでそれぞれ表したとき、次式 から算出される請求項2記載の基地局。 5.前記所望の電力レベルの算出に自由空間伝搬モデルを用いた請求項2記載の 基地局。 6.前記所望の電力レベルの算出にHata伝搬モデルを用いた請求項2記載の基地 局。 7.前記所望の電力レベルの算出に区切り点伝搬モデルを用いた請求項2記載の 基地局。 8.前記送信手段が、 送信情報信号の発生のために前記割当てチャンネルと前記グローバルチャンネ ルとを組み合わせる手段と、 前記送信情報信号を前記送信に先立ってアップコンバートする手段と、 前記アップコンバートされた信号を送信するアンテナ手段と をさらに含む請求項4記載の基地局。 9.前記出力電力レベルを前記組み合わせる手段でモニタする請求項8記載の基 地局。 10.前記割当てチャンネルの各々および前記グローバルチャンネルの前記電力 レベルを前記出力電力レベルの発生のために前記モニタ手段で個別にモニタする 請求項8記載の基地局。 11.前記出力電力レベルを検出する第2のアンテナ手段をさらに含み、前記モ ニタ手段が前記第2のアンテナに応答する請求項8記載の基地局。 12.前記送信手段が複数のグローバルチャンネルを送信する手段をさらに含む 請求項1記載の基地局。 13.基地局から送信されるグローバルチャンネルの電力を制御する方法であっ て、 複数の割当てチャンネルと少なくとも一つのグローバルチャンネルとを一つの 出力電力レベルで送信する過程と、 前記出力電力レベルをモニタする過程と、 閉ループ順方向電力制御を用いて前記割当てチャンネルの前記電力レベルを個 別に制御する過程と、 前記出力電力レベルに応答して前記グローバルチャンネルの電力レベルを制御 する手段とを含み、前記グローバルチャンネルの前記電力を前記割当てチャンネ ルの全電力の正味変動値全部に応答して調節する方法。 14.前記グローバルチャンネルについての所望の電力レベルを前記モニタする 過程に基づいて算出する過程と、その算出結果に応答して前記グローバルチャン ネルの電力を調節する過程とをさらに含む請求項13記載の方法。 15.前記所望の電力レベルPGが、α=(λ2)/(4π)2であって、所望のSN比 をγ、処理利得をN、白色雑音電力密度をNO、全送信電力をPT、送信帯域幅を W、最大稼動範囲をR、搬送波周波数対応の波長をλでそれぞれ表したとき、次 式 から算出される請求項14記載の方法。 16.前記送信する過程が、 送信情報信号の発生のために前記割当てチャンネルと前記グローバルチャンネ ルとを組み合わせる過程と、 前記送信情報信号を前記送信に先立ってアップコンバートする過程と、 前記アップコンバートされた信号を送信する過程と をさらに含む請求項15記載の方法。 17.前記組み合わせる過程に先立って前記出力電力レベルをモニタする過程を さらに含む請求項16記載の方法。 18.前記出力電力レベルの発生のために前記割当てチャンネルの各々および前 記グローバルチャンネルの電力レベルを個別にモニタする過程をさらに含む請求 項15記載の方法。 19.共通位置アンテナを用いて前記出力電力レベルを検出する過程をさらに含 む請求項15記載の方法。 20.複数のグローバルチャンネルを送信する過程をさらに含む請求項13記載 の方法。
