Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.次の: (1)(a)(i)低メルトインデックスのポリエチレンおよび(ii)ポリプ ロピレンより成るポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイにして、該ポリプロピレ ンが該ポリプロピレン/ポリエチレンアロイ中の該ポリエチレン全体に均一に分 散されている該ポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイ、 (b)EPDMゴム、 (c)カーボンブラック、 (d)少なくとも1種の硬化剤、 (e)酸化亜鉛、 (f)プロセスオイル、および (g)ステアリン酸 を含んで成るゴム組成物をチューブ状に押出成形し; (2)該チューブをホースに所望される幾何学的形状に付形し;そして (3)該ゴム組成物を130〜210℃の範囲内の温度で硬化させて該ホース を製造する 工程を含んで成る、ホースの製造法。 2.熱可塑性樹脂アロイがポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイであり、そし てアロイ量がゴム組成物中にその中のEPDMゴムの総量基準で約2〜約30phr のポリプロピレンを存在させるに足る量である、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法 。 3.ゴム組成物が約80〜約150phrのカーボンブラック、約20〜約9 0phrのプロセスオイル、約1〜約10phrの酸化亜鉛、約0.25〜約5 phrのステアリン酸、約0.2〜約6phrの硫黄および約1〜約12phr の促進剤を含んでいる、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4.ゴム組成物を約140〜約200℃の範囲内の温度で硬化させる、請求の 範囲第3項に記載の方法。 5.請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法により製造されたホース。 6.ゴム組成物を螺旋マンドレルダイを用いてチューブ状に押出成形する、請 求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 7.熱可塑性樹脂アロイがポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイであり、そし てゴム組成物が約3〜約30phrのポリプロピレン、約100〜約130ph rのカーボンブラック、約30〜約70phrのプロセスオイル、約3〜約8p hrの酸化亜鉛、約0.5〜約4phrのステアリン酸、約0.3〜約4phr の硫黄および約2.5〜約10phrの促進剤を含んでいる、請求の範囲第1項 に記載の方法。 8.熱可塑性樹脂アロイがポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイであり、そし てゴム組成物が約4〜約30phrのポリプロピレン、約110〜約125ph rのカーボンブラック、約40〜約50phrのプロセスオイル、約4〜約6p hrの酸化亜鉛、約1〜約3phrのステアリン酸、約0.5〜約2phrの硫 黄および約4〜約8phrの促進剤を含んでいる、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方 法。 9.促進剤がメルカプトベンゾチアゾールとテトラメチルチウラムジスルフィ ドとジブチルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛との組み合わせより成る、請求の範囲第7 項に記載の方法。 10.ゴム組成物を約170〜約195℃の範囲内の温度で硬化させる、請求 の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 11.次の: (1)(a)(i)低メルトインデックスのポリエチレンおよび(ii)ポリプ ロピレンより成るポリプロピレン/ポリエチレンアロイにして、該ポリプロピレ ンが該ポリプロピレン/ポリエチレンアロイ中の該ポリエチレン全体に均一に分 散されている該ポリプロピレン/ポリエチレンアロイ、 (b)EPDMゴム、 (c)カーボンブラック、 (d)少なくとも1種の硬化剤、 (e)酸化亜鉛、 (f)プロセスオイル、および (g)ステアリン酸 を含んで成るゴム組成物を130〜210℃の範囲内の温度でホースの目的幾何 学的形状に射出成形し; (2)該チューブをホースに所望される幾何学的形状に付形し;そして (3)該ゴム組成物を130〜210℃の範囲内の温度で硬化させて該ホース を製造する 工程を含んで成る、ホースの製造法。 12.熱可塑性樹脂アロイがポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイであり、そ してアロイ量がゴム組成物中にその中のEPDMゴムの総量基準で約2〜約50ph rのポリプロピレンを存在させるに足る量である、請求の範囲第11項に記載の 方法。 13.ゴム組成物が約80〜約150phrのカーボンブラック、約20〜約 90phrのプロセスオイル、約1〜約10phrの酸化亜鉛、約0.25〜約 5phrのステアリン酸、約0.2〜約6phrの硫黄および約1〜約12ph rの促進剤を含んでいる、請求の範囲第12項に記載の方法。 14.ゴム組成物が約3〜約30phrのポリプロピレン、約100〜約13 0phrのカーボンブラック、約30〜約70phrのプロセスオイル、約3〜 約8phrの酸化亜鉛、約0.5〜約4phrのステアリン酸、約0.3〜約4 phrの硫黄および約2.5〜約10phrの促進剤を含んでいる、請求の範囲 第13項に記載の方法。 15.ゴム組成物が約4〜約30phrの、ポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンア ロイに由来するポリプロピレン、約110〜約125phrのカーボンブラック 、約40〜約50phrのプロセスオイル、約4〜約6phrの酸化亜鉛、約1 〜約3phrのステアリン酸、0O.5〜約2phrの硫黄および約4〜約8p hrの促進剤を含んでいる、請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法。 16.次の: (a)(i)低メルトインデックスのポリエチレンおよび(ii)ポリプロピレ ンより成るポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイにして、該ポリプロピレンが該 ポリプロピレン/ポリエチレンアロイ中の該ポリエチレン全体に均一に分散され てい る該ポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイ、 (b)EPDMゴム、 (c)カーボンブラック、 (d)少なくとも1種の硬化剤、 (e)酸化亜鉛、 (f)プロセスオイル、および (g)ステアリン酸 を含んで成るゴム組成物。 17.ポリプロピレンをゴムコンパウンド中に該ポリプロピレンの融点より低 い温度で分散させる方法にして、次の: (1)(i)低メルトインデックスのポリエチレンおよび(ii)ポリプロピレ ンより成るポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイを調製し;そして (2)該ポリエチレン/ポリプロピレンアロイを、該ポリプロピレンの融点よ り低いが、該ポリエチレンの融点よりは高い温度で該ゴムコンパウンドに混合、 配合させる 工程を含んで成る、上記の方法。 18.混合を95〜120℃の範囲内の温度で行う、請求の範囲第17項に記 載の方法。 19.ポリプロピレン/ポリエチレンアロイが約55〜約65重量パーセント のポリエチレンと約35〜約45重量パーセントのポリプロピレンを含んでいる 、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
