Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.脊柱に隣接して配置されるように形成された細長い部材と、 推骨に係合する形状の下方部分および少なくとも一部が球形の形状であるヘッ ドを有する骨係合固定具と、 上端および対向する底部端を有する受け部材であって、前記骨係合固定具の前 記ヘッドを受ける凹所が形成されており、前記凹所は、前記固定具の下方部分が 貫通する前記受け部材の底部端に下方開口を備え、前記受け部材は、上端に上方 開口を備えた溝を有し、前記溝は中に細長い部材を受ける構成になっている受け 部材と、 前記受け部材の一部の周りに配置された圧縮部材であって、感温材料から形成 され、第1の温度で第1の形状を備え、第1の温度と異なる第2の温度で第1の 形状と異なる第2の形状を有し、前記第2の温度において、前記受け部材の前記 部分の周りで収縮し、前記受け部材を前記溝内の骨係合固定具のヘッドの周りで 圧縮する圧縮部材と、を有する脊柱固定組立体。 2.前記骨係合固定具の前記ヘッドは、切り取られた上面を有し、前記上面を 通る治具受け凹所を備えた請求項1に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 3.前記凹所は、前記底部端に隣接して受け部材内に形成されており、前記受 け部材は、前記底部端に隣接して外側環状下方溝を形成しており、前記溝は、前 記圧縮部材が前記第1の形状にあるとき、前記圧縮部材を受ける形状である請求 項1に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 4.前記受け部材は、前記上部端に隣接して外側環状上方溝を有し、前記組立 体は、前記上方溝内に受けられる形状の第2の圧縮部材を有する請求項3に記載 の脊柱固定組立体。 5.前記第2の圧縮部材は、感温材料から形成され、第1の温度で前記上方溝 内に受けられる第1の形状と、第1の温度と異なる第2の温度で第1の形状と異 なる第2の形状とを有し、前記第2の温度において、前記受け部材の前記部分の 周りで収縮する、請求項4に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 6.前記凹所は、前記底部端に隣接して受け部材内に形成されており、前記受 け部材は、前記上部端に隣接して外側環状上方溝を形成しており、前記溝は、前 記圧縮部材が前記第1の形状にあるとき、前記圧縮部材を受ける形状である請求 項1に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 7.前記凹所は前記受け部材の底部端に隣接して配置され、 前記溝は、前記受け部材の上部端に隣接して配置され、前記骨係合固定具のヘ ッドが、前記凹所内に配置されるとき、前記骨係合固定具が前記溝に交差しない ように前記凹所から離れて配置されている請求項1に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 8.前記組立体は、第2の圧縮部材を備え、前記第2の圧縮部材は第1の温度 で第1の形状を有し、第1の温度と異なる第2の温度で第1の形状と異なる第2 の形状とを有する感温材料から形成され、前記第2の温度において、前記受け部 材の周りで収縮し、 前記受け部材は、上端に隣接した外側の上方環状溝を備え、前記上方環状溝は 、前記第2の圧縮部材が前記第1の形状であるとき、前記第2の圧縮部材を受け る形状であり、前記第2の圧縮部材は、第1の形状と異なる第2の形状に前記受 け部材の周りで収縮し、前記溝内に配置された前記細長い部材の周りで前記受け 部材を圧縮する請求項7に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 9.前記受け部材は、前記溝を形成する対向する第1の側壁を有し、前記第1 の側壁の中間に対向する第2の側壁を有する請求項1に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 10.前記受け部材は前記対向する第2の側壁の各々に形成された第1のスロ ットを有し、各前記第1のスロットは、前記受け部材の上部端に向かって前記底 部端から延びている請求項9に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 11.前記第1のスロットは、前記凹所と交差する請求項10に記載の脊柱固 定組立体。 12.前記第1のスロットは前記凹所で終了する請求項11に記載の脊柱固定 組立体。 13.前記受け部材は、前記対向する第1の側壁の各々に形成された第2のス ロットを有し、各前記第2のスロットは、前記受け部材の底部端に向かって前記 溝から延びている請求項10に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 14.前記第2のスロットは、前記凹所と交差する請求項12に記載の脊柱固 定組立体。 15.前記第2のスロットは前記凹所で終了する請求項14に記載の脊柱固定 組立体。 16.前記第1のスロットは、前記凹所と交差する請求項12に記載の脊柱固 定組立体。 17.前記第1のスロットは、前記凹所と交差する請求項16に記載の脊柱固 定組立体。 18.前記受け部材は、前記対向する第1の側壁の各々に形成された第2のス ロットを有し、各前記第2のスロットは、前記受け部材の上部端に向かって前記 底部端から延びている請求項10に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 19.各前記第2のスロットは、前記凹所と交差する請求項18に記載の脊柱 固定組立体。 20.前記第2のスロットは前記凹所と前記受け部材の上部端との間で終結し ている請求項19に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 21.前記第2のスロットは、前記溝に隣接して終結している請求項20に記 載の脊柱固定組立体。 22.前記受け部材は、前記対向する第1の側壁の各々に形成された第2のス ロットを有し、各前記第2のスロットは、前記受け部材の底部端に向かって前記 溝から延びている請求項9に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 23.各前記第2のスロットは前記凹所と交差する請求項21に記載の脊柱固 定組立体。 24.前記受け部材は、前記対向する第1の側壁の各々に形成された第2のス ロットを有し、各前記第2のスロットは、前記受け部材の上部端に向かって前記 底部端から延びている請求項9に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 25.各前記第2のスロットは前記凹所と交差する請求項24に記載の脊柱固 定組立体。 26.前記第2のスロットは、前記凹所と前記受け部材の上部端との間で終結 している請求項25に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 27.前記第2のスロットは、前記溝に隣接して終結している請求項26に記 載の脊柱固定組立体。 28.前記対向する第1の側壁は、平坦であり、前記対向する第2の側壁は湾 曲している請求項9に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 29.前記細長い部材は、ロッドの直径を有するロッドであり、前記溝は、前 記ロッド直径と等しい溝直径を有する請求項1に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 30.前記溝の前記上方開口は、前記ロソド直径より小さい幅を有する請求項 29に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 ている請求項1に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 38.前記広がった開口は、前記穴の直径より大きい下方の直径で前記凹所と 交差する請求項37に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 39.前記広がった開口は、前記穴の直径に等しい下方の直径で前記凹所と交 差する請求項37に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 40.前記溝の上方開口の一部は、前記溝から外側に傾斜している請求項1に 記載の脊柱固定組立体。 41.前記受け部材は、溝を形成し、前記圧縮部材は、前記溝に勘合する寸法 のリングである請求項1に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 42.前記溝の一部は平坦であり、前記溝の残りの部分は、湾曲している部分 であり、 前記リングは、前記下方溝の前記平坦で湾曲した部分に対応した平坦で湾曲し た部分を有する請求項41に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 43.前記リングは前記溝で前記受け部材を完全に包囲する閉鎖リングである 請求項42に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 44.上端および対向する底部端を有する受け部材であって、前記骨係合固定 具の前記ヘッドを受ける凹所が形成されており、前記凹所は、前記受け部材の底 部端に前記固定具の下方部分が貫通する下方開口を備え、前記受け部材は、上端 に上方開口を備えた溝を有し、前記溝は中に細長い部材を受ける構成になってい る受け部材と、 前記受け部材の一部の周りに配置された圧縮部材であって、感温材料から形成 され、第1の温度の第1の形状を備え、第1の温度と異なる第2の温度で第1の 形状と異なる第2の形状を有し、前記第2の温度において、前記受け部材の前記 部分の周りで収縮し、骨係合固定具のヘッドの周りで前記受け部材を前記溝内で 圧縮する圧縮部材と、を有する脊柱固定組立体。 45.前記凹所は、前記底部端に隣接して受け部材内に配置されており、前記 受け部材は、前記底部端に隣接して外側環状下方溝を形成しており、前記溝は、 前記圧縮部材が前記第1の形状にあるとき、前記圧縮部材を受ける形状である請 求項44に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 46.前記受け部材は、前記上部端に隣接して外側環状上方溝を有し、前記組 立体は、前記上方溝内に受けられる形状の第2の圧縮部材を有する請求項42に 記載の脊柱固定組立体。 47.前記第2の圧縮部材は、感温材料から形成され、前記感温材料は、第1 の温度で前記上方溝内に受けられる第1の形状と、第1の温度と異なる第2の温 度で第1の形状と異なる第2の形状とを有し、前記第2の温度において、前記受 け部材の前記部分の周りで収縮する、請求項46に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 48.前記凹所は、前記底部端に隣接して受け部材内に配置されており、前記 受け部材は、前記上部端に隣接して外側環状上方溝を形成しており、前記溝は、 前記圧縮部材が前記第1の形状にあるとき、前記圧縮部材を受ける形状である請 求項44に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 49.前記凹所は前記受け部材の底部端に隣接して配置され、 前記溝は、前記受け部材の上部端に隣接して配置され、前記骨係合固定具のヘ ッドが、前記凹所内に配置されるとき、前記骨係合固定具が前記溝に交差しない ように前記凹所から離れて配置されている請求項44に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 50.前記組立体は前記第2の圧縮部材を有し、前記第2の圧縮部材は第1の 温度で第1の形状を有し、第1の温度と異なる第2の温度で第1の形状と異なる 第2の形状とを有する感温材料から形成され、前記第2の温度において、前記第 2の圧縮部材は、前記受け部材の周りで収縮し、 前記受け部材は、上端に隣接した外側の上方環状溝を備え、前記上方環状溝は 、前記第2の圧縮部材が前記第1の形状であるとき、前記第2の圧縮部材を受け る形状であり、前記第2の圧縮部材は、第1の形状と異なる第2の形状に前記受 け部材の周りで収縮し、前記溝内に配置された前記細長い部材の周りで前記受け 部材を圧縮する請求項49に記載の脊柱固定組立体。 51.前記受け部材は、前記溝を形成する対向する第1の側壁を有し、前記第 1の側壁の中間に対向する第2の側壁を有する請求項44に記載の脊柱固定組立 体。 52.前記受け部材は前記対向する第2の側壁の各々に形成された第1のスロ ットを有し、各前記第1のスロットは、前記受け部材の上部端に向かって前記底 部端から延びている請求項51に記載の脊柱固定組立体。
