Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque generating mechanism for a rotary body which has viscosity in rotating simultaneously produces a feeling of not rotating unless by strong force and is simple in structure. SOLUTION: Given torque is generated on a rotation of the rotary body by situating an O-ring in a manner to be squeezed between the upper surface of the rotary body 30 and a case 20. The rotary body 30 is provided with an O-ring containing part 33. An O-ring flying-out preventing part A is situated on the outer peripheral side of an O-ring containing part 33. The O-ring flying- out preventing part A is formed such that a protrusion 5 formed on the rotary body 30 and a recessed part 29 are engaged with each other.

In this type of rotary electronic parts, there is a torque output mechanism for increasing the rotational torque of a rotary shaft, specifically, a torque output mechanism which has a sticky rotational torque and requires a large torque to rotate. Mechanisms were sometimes required. As such a conventional torque output mechanism, there has been a mechanism that utilizes a grease stickiness by providing a torque spring or providing a grease reservoir between a rotating body and a fixed member such as a case.

However, when a torque spring is used,
The rotation of the rotating shaft is hardly sticky, and it is not possible to produce such a large torque. On the other hand, when grease was used, the rotation of the rotating shaft could be made sticky, but not so large torque.

At this time, as shown in FIG.
5 is an O-ring storage portion 33 of the rotating body 30 and an O-ring of the case 10.
Since it is crushed from above and below by the ring pressing portion 28, a strong torque is required when rotating the rotating body 30. Further, when rotating while overcoming the strong torque, stickiness is generated in the rotation. Therefore, a heavy and sticky rotational torque that could not be output conventionally can be reliably obtained. Moreover, since the O-ring 95 is used, it is inexpensive and the mounting structure is easy.

That is, the present invention can be configured as shown in FIG. In the case of this embodiment, the O-ring protrusion preventing portion A is not provided, and the O-ring housing portion 33 is simply provided on the rotating body 30 side. Even with such a configuration, the effect of reliably obtaining a heavy and sticky rotational torque that could not be obtained conventionally occurs similarly to the above-described embodiment.

However, in the case of this embodiment, when the rotator 30 is rotated, the crushing force of the O-ring 95 is too strong or the gap between the case 20 and the rotator 30 is large. As shown in FIG.
5 may protrude outward from the O-ring accommodating portion 33, and there is a possibility that the sense of torque generated by the O-ring 95 may not be generated.
