2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, epiphytic orchids such as orchids, stone orchids, wind orchids, and yard trees have been very popular, and many imported products have been sold. This is probably due to its beauty as well as its longevity. However, epiphytic orchids have the drawback that they are difficult to cultivate, are laborious, and are difficult to produce, resulting in high costs.

Conventionally, epiphytic orchids are grown in flowerpots containing moss, and are sold after having flowers (flowering). The reason for using water moss is that ordinary soil has low water retention and hates germs. In addition, the moss must be raised for about three years before shipping, and during that time, the moss must be replaced about once a year. Also, in order to make the purchaser last longer, the moss was replaced in a predetermined period.

The reason why moss is replaced in about one year as described above is as follows. First, moss absorbs water very well, but has poor water retention and is prone to root rot. Further, there is a disadvantage that once dried, water is not absorbed. Therefore, water management is quite difficult. In addition, since lignin is produced from the moss over time, slime appears and water absorption and water retention gradually deteriorate. In addition, moss forms nematodes after a certain period, and inhibits the growth of orchids.

[0005] The only way to avoid such a situation is to replace the moss regularly. This replacement usually needs to be carried out every year, and the traders use unglazed pots for breeding, but they replace them with plastic decorative pots at the time of shipment. Change at least three times. Depending on the breeder, tens of thousands to one
Since we have 100,000 pots, this exchange of water moss, that is, replanting, is a very labor-intensive operation, and significantly increases production costs. And after the consumer buys,
It is indispensable to exchange moss for successful cultivation, which makes it difficult to manage cultivated epiphytic orchids with water.

Accordingly, in the art, the emergence of an orchid-growing flowerpot that does not require replacement of water moss has been expected. In view of such a situation, the inventor has completed the flowerpot of the present invention as a result of earnest research, and the feature of the present invention is that a flowerpot made of bamboo charcoal manufactured by bamboo batting is used. .

That is, the inventor of the present invention found that a stone mackerel that had been left outdoors for 16 years while being planted in a pot filled with crushed charcoal was planted in a state in which roots were wrapped around the charcoal without dying (live). The present invention is based on the fact that they grow vigorously and led to the present invention.

After that, a bamboo flower pot was filled with crushed charcoal and various crushed minerals, planted with epiphytic orchids, and trial-produced. As a result, it grew smoothly and the roots took root half a year later. did. Normally, it takes one year to survive in the case of moss. Moreover,
In the case of this prototype, the roots extending outside the pot were fixed along the coal bowl. Originally, it is difficult to fix the roots of supporting materials such as pots on epiphytic orchids such as wind orchids and succulent trees because the roots are spread out sideways. It seems that this phenomenon occurred because the roots essentially prefer charcoal.

[0009] In addition, since the epiphytic orchid naturally absorbs the moisture in the air, a large amount of water is not required for retaining the water moss, which causes damage such as root rot. On the other hand, charcoal does not absorb as much water as moss, but is excellent for water retention, and the water retained by charcoal is sufficient to supply the water required by epiphytic orchids.
It turned out that January would last if water was given. Moreover, the charcoal contains few bacteria such as Escherichia coli, and does not show the growth of fusarium that feeds on Escherichia coli and the like. This fusarium damages various parts of the plant, and thus has an adverse effect on the growth of epiphytic orchids. Therefore, the roots of epiphytic orchids may be easily attached to the charcoal.

[0010] As described above, the root grows out of the pot so that it is vigorous and durable. Therefore, it is not necessary to replace the filling material for three years, and it is lighter in weight than the unglazed pot and has no aesthetic problems. If there is no such thing, it can be shipped as a product as it is. Further, it can be used as it is for about two years after shipment, so that there is an advantage that the purchaser can easily manage the water and reduce the care.

The inventor of the present invention similarly grew epiphytic orchids in a charcoal bowl filled with water moss together with charcoal. However, the inconvenience of water moss as in unglazed pots occurred. Did not. This is probably because lignin leaching from the moss is decomposed by charcoal.

As described above, it has been found that charcoal is very preferable for growing orchids, especially epiphytic orchids. Examples of charcoal include charcoal obtained by shaping charcoal and sawdust in addition to bamboo charcoal. Among them, the inventor chose bamboo charcoal because if bamboo is cylindrical and carbonized with a knot at one end, it becomes a charcoal flowerpot. Also, bamboo itself has bactericidal power,
Bamboo charcoal also has fine pores and a large amount compared to charcoal, and is excellent in retaining nutrients and water.

Here, the charcoal manufactured by bamboo bamboo is only required to be bamboo as the raw material, and the charcoaling method may be a conventional one. What is necessary is just to bake in a charcoal pot or other charcoal making equipment. There is no particular limitation on the degree of baking, and it may be completely carbonized or may be incompletely carbonized (burnt charcoal). Incomplete carbonization refers to carbonization of the surface and preservation of bamboo fibers inside. In this case, the strength is greater than that of completely carbonized, and it can be used as a flower pot for 5 years or more, and the life is 1.5 to 2 times longer than that of fully carbonized. In the case of incomplete carbonization, the sterilizing power of the remaining bamboo fiber can be expected. With about half the carbonization, a reduction ratio of 10% or less can be obtained, and a pot having almost the same size as bamboo as the raw material can be obtained.

As a raw material bamboo, using a bottomed cylindrical shape cut to an appropriate length with a knot at one end, and charcoal-baked, a charcoal pot of approximately the same size can be obtained as it is. It is easier and easier to open a hole for draining in the center of the knot and a hole for inserting a hanging string or handle metal fitting in the upper part of the cylinder in advance than carbonizing after carbonization. There are advantages that can be done. Alternatively, the same thing as described above can be obtained by simply baking charcoal using a round bamboo as a raw material and incorporating charcoal-baked wide bamboo or a plate as the bottom of the bowl. Of the two, the former can be used as it is, so that the bowl can be obtained as it is, which can be done at a low cost without any trouble.

Further, a plurality of strip-shaped split bamboo charcoal may be spelled to form a side surface of the pot, and the bottom of the pot may be formed by incorporating a wide split bamboo or a plate made of charcoal as described above. The string used for the installation or hanging of the pot may be a palm rope or a metal wire such as a copper wire. Strip-shaped split bamboo charcoal may be combined in the same way as when making a tub, and fixed with a tag attached. In this case, there is an advantage that a large-diameter bowl can be freely formed, and a small-diameter bowl can also be elegant.

Furthermore, if the bamboo charcoal flower pot is used after being immersed in a chitosan solution or a wood vinegar solution, nematodes hardly multiply and epiphytic orchid growth is further improved. In addition, it has a bacteriostatic and bactericidal action, activates the plant such as rooting action, and has the effect of promoting the action of charcoal that decomposes lignin eluted from water moss. Chitosan diluted about 30-500 times and wood vinegar diluted about 20-300 times have sufficient effects. In the case of orchids, it is unnecessary, but in houseplants and the like, the same effect can be obtained by diluting acetic acid to about 40 to 600 times. The immersion time may be about 10 minutes to 3 hours.

Next, when growing epiphytic orchids using the bamboo charcoal flowerpot of the present invention, crushed bamboo charcoal and charcoal as well as crushed coral sand (coral sand), tourmaline, and malt stone are contained in the pot. It is advisable to fill the plant with minerals, nutrients and minerals that give good stimulation. Coral is rich in nitrogen and phosphorus and has a bacteriostatic action, and tourmaline has a bacteriostatic action and a weak current, so that it exhibits an excellent effect on the growth of epiphytic orchids by synergistic action with charcoal. Water moss may be used in addition or alone. In this case, the water moss can be used for a longer time than before.

The drain hole is not provided at the bottom of the flower pot,
If provided below the trunk (cylindrical portion), some rainwater or sprinkled water will collect in the bowl. This accumulated water is absorbed by the pot body and the filled charcoal, so that there is an advantage that the water is appropriately retained. In particular, when the pot is impregnated with a chitosan solution, a wood vinegar solution, or other liquid fertilizers, nutrients dissolved in water are hardly lost, and there is an effect of preventing the outflow of the filled fine minerals.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail based on embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a flowerpot 1 made of bamboo charcoal of the present invention. This is obtained by cutting Moso bamboo having a diameter of about 10 cm into a length of about 15 cm with knots, and incompletely carbonizing it in a charcoal kiln. The obtained bamboo charcoal had a diameter of about 9 cm and a height of about 14 cm. In addition, the charcoal burning time is about 4 to 5 hours, which is about half that of the complete carbonization. At the upper part of the trunk 1a, a hanging string insertion hole 2 drilled at the stage of raw bamboo is provided, and at the bottom 1b of the pot, a drainage hole 3 having a diameter of about 2 cm is formed at the stage of raw bamboo. Reference numeral 4 is a small crack, and reference numeral 5 is an air gap, all of which are caused by carbonization. These cracks 4 and voids 5 do not pose a problem in strength if they are small, and may be used. This bamboo charcoal flower pot 1
Is further immersed in a chitosan solution and a wood vinegar solution diluted about 100 times, but this immersion may be omitted. Reference numeral 6 is a chitosan or wood vinegar component.

FIG. 3 shows a cylindrical bamboo charcoal 11a obtained by cutting the Moso bamboo into a circle of about 15 cm in length and cutting the lower part into an arc, and then completely carbonizing the arc-shaped split bamboo. Another pot 11 made of bamboo charcoal made by incorporating the bottom plate 11b. The assembly was performed with the copper wire 12. Since the bamboo charcoal flowerpot 11 uses bamboo charcoal completely carbonized, its strength is somewhat inferior to that of the above example, but the bacteriostatic action and the like are almost the same as those of the above example. However, it takes time to assemble, and the cost increases.

The bamboo charcoal flower pot 16 shown in FIG. 5 uses a knotted bamboo tube similarly to the bamboo charcoal flower pot 1 shown in FIG. 1, but the drain hole 17 is not a knot portion serving as the pot bottom 16b. It is provided below the body 16a. In this case, since rainwater or sprinkled water accumulates in the pot and is absorbed by the pot body or the filled charcoal, there is an advantage that the water is appropriately retained. In addition, when a pot is impregnated with a chitosan solution, a wood vinegar solution, or other liquid fertilizers, there is an effect that these nutrients and fine minerals filled in the pot can be prevented from flowing out.

As described above, the flowerpot of the present invention is made of tubular bamboo charcoal manufactured by bamboo batting. Therefore, there are various excellent effects as described below. (1) The round bamboo with a knot at one end is simply baked and made into charcoal. It is also possible to change the shape of the bamboo charcoal without knots and attach a suitable charcoal bottom plate, or spell a strip of bamboo charcoal with a wire and attach a charcoal plate to it. . (2) Bamboo charcoal is clean and water-retentive, and once watered, it lasts in January, greatly reducing the labor of management. Therefore, it is possible to gradually reduce or eliminate the use of water moss, which has conventionally been essential for growing or cultivating orchids as a water retention material. Further, even if moss is used, it can be used for a long period of time, and the moss which has been required once a year is no longer required to be replaced. This makes it possible to greatly reduce labor for growing orchid orchid growers. (3) Since bamboo charcoal also has a bacteriostatic property, it has very little E. coli, so the amount of Fusarium that eats it does not increase, and it is not necessary to use water moss. Does not rot plants. Therefore, it is most suitable as a pot for microorganisms, unclean substances, orchids such as epiphytic orchids that do not like to run out of water, and various potted plants. (4) Bamboo charcoal flower pots are durable and have a good appearance, such as orchids, so they look good, so there is no need to replace them with plastic makeup pots that were used at the time of shipment. Cost is greatly reduced. (5) In the case of incomplete carbonization, a material excellent in strength and sterilizing power can be obtained. (6) Even if moss is used, it can be used for as long as about three years because lignin is decomposed by bamboo charcoal. (7) The purchaser (appreciator or manager) can easily manage water, generate less pathogenic bacteria, and has the advantage of not requiring much time for cultivation.
