そして、上記前半部１１ａと後半部１１ｂとの間に、前進と後退とを切り換える為の前後進切り換えユニット３９を、動力の伝達方向に関して直列に設けている。遊星歯車機構である、この前後進切り換えユニット３９は、それぞれが湿式多板クラッチである前進用クラッチ４０と後退用クラッチ４１とを選択して切り換える事により、前進状態と後退状態とを切り換える。尚、遊星歯車機構を使用した前後進切り換えユニット３９の構造及び作用は、従来から周知であり、又、本発明の要旨とも関係しない為、詳しい説明は省略する。
