Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.液体分配システムであって、 (a)液体源と、 (b)前記液体源によりアドレスすることができ、前記毛細管バリヤを持つチ ャネルとを備え、 液体分配システムが、チャネル・プレートとバリヤ・プレートを備える二つま たはそれ以上の結合プレートを備え、前記チャネルが、前記チャネル・プレート のチャネル表面に形成され、前記チャネル表面が前記バリヤ・プレートの一方の 表面に接合し、毛細管バリヤが、前記バリヤ・プレートを貫通して形成される前 記チャネルと交差するバリヤ・開口部により形成される液体分配システム。 2.請求項1に記載の液体分配システムにおいて、チャネルが、液体を前記毛 細管バリヤを通して、垂直送りチャネルに移動させるために動作指せることがで きる、動電ポンプを備えるシステム。 3.液体分配システムであって、 (a)液体源と、 (b)前記液体源によりアドレスすることができ、毛細管バリヤを持つチャネ ルと、 (c)静水圧を、前記毛細管バリヤを破るのに必要な圧力より低い圧力から、 少なくとも、前記毛細管バリヤを破り、前記毛細管バリヤを通る液体の流れをス タートさせるのに必要な圧力まで変化させることができるように、前記液体源の 静水圧を調整するための圧力レギュレータとを備える液体分配システム。 4.請求項3に記載の液体分配システムにおいて、前記静水圧がガス圧により 発生する液体分配システム。 5.液体分配システムであって、 (a)液体源と、 (b)前記液体源によりアドレスすることができ、毛細管バリヤを持つチャネ ルとを備え、 前記毛細管バリヤが、反応セルに接続している垂直送りチャネルにより排水さ れる室に開いている液体分配システム。 6.請求項5に記載の液体分配システムにおいて、前記液体分配システムが、 さらに、前記室内への出口を持つガス圧分配システムを備えるシステム。 7.液体分配システムであって、 (a)液体源と、 (b)前記液体源によりアドレスすることができ、毛細管バリヤを持つチャネ ルとを備え、 前記液体分配システムが、前記チャネルから前記液体を吸い込むために、前記 液体源または前記チャネルに取り付けることができる負の圧力源を備える液体分 配システム。 8.液体分配システムであって、 (a)静水圧を維持するために動作することができる液体源と、(b)反応セ ルと、(c)前記液体源によりアドレスすることができ、前記反応セルに接続し ているチャネルと、(d)前記チャネル内の流れを制御する動電ポンプとを備え る液体分配システム。 9.請求項8に記載の液体分配システムにおいて、前記液体源にガス圧を加え ることにより、静水圧が維持されるシステム。 10.ガスケット形成方法であって、 (a)表面のある領域からの流体の流入および流出を、防止するために使用す ることができるガスケット・パターンえを形成するために、基板の表面上に、硬 化することができる重合材をスクリーン印刷するステップと、 (b)印刷済みのガスケット・パターンの頂面にプラテンを設置するステップ と、 (c)ガスケットを入手するために、前記診察済み重合材を硬化させるステッ プとを含む方法。 11.請求項10に記載の方法において、さらに、ステップ(a)の後、しか し、ステップ(b)の前に、 (d)最初に、前記印刷済みのガスケット・パターンの重合材を硬化するステ ップと、 (e)次に、印刷済みのガスケット・パターンの重合材の量を増やすために、 印刷済みのガスケット・パターン上に、硬化することができる重合材の第二のス クリーン印刷を重ねることによって、前記印刷済みのガスケット・パターンへ追 加を行うステップとを含む方法。 12.液体分配システムであって、 (a)二つまたはそれ以上の液体源と、 (b)前記各液体源用の、前記液体源によりアドレスすることができ、前記毛細 管バリヤを持つチャネルと、 (c)前記チャネルの出口に接続しているマニホールドと、 (d)前記マニホールドからの液体が排水される反応セルとを備える液体分配シ ステム。
