Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.誘電加熱装置において、 加熱空洞部を画成するために電気的に相互に接続されかつ直列に配置された複 数の導電性の側壁部を備え、隣接した側壁部の少なくとも1組が鋭角と鈍角とか らなるグループから選択された夾角を有する隅部において相互に傾斜し、かつ 誘電加熱のために好適な電磁線を放出することができかつ時間と共に変化する 周波数においてこのような電磁線を空洞部の中に送るために配置されかつ加熱空 洞部を多重モードの共振加熱空洞部として作用させる少なくとも一つの電磁パワ ー源を備えている誘電加熱装置。 2.加熱装置が加熱空洞部を画成する電子レンジの形態であり、空洞部が管状 の形状を有しかつ側壁部が空洞部の一端部から空洞部の他端部まで延在し、空洞 部が多角形でありかつ周囲に延在する一続きの形態に配置された複数の辺を有す る横断面の外形を有し、多角形の各々の隣接した組の辺が相互の間に空洞部の隅 部を画成する請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 3.空洞部が正多角形の外形である横断面の外形を有し、前記多角形がすべて が同じ長さである辺を有しかつ辺の数が3、5、7、9および11の値から選択 される請求の範囲第2項に記載の装置。 4.前記多角形が等しい長さの5つの辺を有する正多角形であり、多角形の各 各の隣接した組の辺が相互に108°の夾角で相互に傾斜しており、各々の前記 側壁部が平坦でありかつ平面状の形状を有し、かつ長方形の外形を有する請求の 範囲第3項に記載の装置。 5.空洞部の端部が開いており、前記の開いた端部が電子レンジを通じて長手 方向に移動するプロファイルの連続加熱を可能にするためにそれぞれ空洞部への 入口と空洞部からの出口とを画成する請求の範囲第2項から第4項までのいずれ か1項に記載の装置。 6.空洞部の各々の端部が空洞部を通じて長手方向に移動するプロファイルを 有効間隙を保って受け入れるためにその内部に開口部を有するチョークを備え、 各々の前記間隙がチョークの開口部を経てかつプロファイルのまわりに使用中に 空洞部からの電磁波の放出を抑制するために選択される請求の範囲第5項に記載 の装置。 7.電子レンジが空洞部の向かい合った端部を閉ざす1対の端壁部を有し、電 子レンジの端壁部の少なくとも一つの端壁部が電子レンジ内に配置された少なく とも1つの物体の加熱においてバッチ操作を可能にするために空洞部の中にドア の少なくとも一部分を構成する請求の範囲第2項から第4項までのいずれか1項 に記載の装置。 8.端壁部のうちの一つの端壁部が空洞部の床を構成し、他方の端壁部が床の 上方に隔置されかつ空洞部のルーフを構成し、電子レンジがパネルである少なく とも5つの側壁部を有し、各々の側壁パネルが平坦でありかつ平面状の形状を有 し、かつ長方形の外形を有し、かつドアが空洞部の中に延在する閉鎖可能なドア 開口部と協働し、ドア開口部の面積が各々の側壁パネルの面積よりも大きい請求 の範囲第7項に記載の装置。 9.ドアが電子レンジの少なくとも一つの側壁パネルを構成し、ドアが電子レ ンジの2つの側壁パネルよりも小さく形成されている請求の範囲第8項に記載の 装置。 10.ドアが一方においてドア開口部の一方の側においてヒンジで留められた 単一のドアパネルから選択されかつ他方において、並行して配置されかつドア開 口部の向かい合った側においてそれぞれヒンジで留められた1対のドアパネルか ら選択され、ドアが少なくとも1つのヒンジを有しかつ各々のヒンジが電子レン ジの一方の端壁部から電子レンジの他方の端壁部に向かう方向に延在する請求の 範囲第9項に記載の装置。 11.前記装置が電子レンジであり、各々の電磁パワー源が0.3×109〜 1×1010Hzの周波数においてマイクロ波放射を放出可能なマイクロ波源であ る請求の範囲第1項から第10項までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。 12.各々のマイクロ波源が少なくとも1MHzの幅を有する帯域幅にわたっ て2.4〜2.5GHzの周波数においてマイクロ波放射を放出することができ る請求の範囲第11項に記載の装置。 13.この明細書に実質的に記載しかつ例示した請求の範囲第1項に記載の装 置。
