【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項1】 リチウムを吸蔵・放出することが可能な負極材として黒鉛を含む負極、正極及び非水溶媒にリチウム塩を溶解してなる電解液から少なくとも構成される非水系電解液二次電池において、非水溶媒が環状カーボネート及び鎖状カーボネートを含有する混合非水溶媒であり、且つ非水溶媒が0.1〜10重量%の下記一般式(1)で示される構造を有するα−ヒドロキシ酸の縮合物を含有することを特徴とする非水系電解液二次電池。

【請求項2】 混合非水溶媒の70容量%以上がカーボネートであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の非水系電解液二次電池。
【請求項3】 混合非水溶媒が、アルキレン基の炭素数が2〜4のアルキレンカーボネートからなる群から選ばれる環状カーボネートと、アルキル基の炭素数が1〜4であるジアルキルカーボネートからなる群から選ばれる鎖状カーボネ
ートとをそれぞれ20容量%以上含有し、且つ混合非水溶媒の70容量%以上がこれらのカーボネートであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の非水系電解液二次電池。
【請求項4】 負極材が、黒鉛のみからなる負極材、又は、リチウムを吸蔵・放出することが可能な非黒鉛系炭素、リチウム、リチウム合金、及び金属酸化物からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種と黒鉛とを混合してなる負極材である
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の非水系電解液二次電池。
【請求項5】 負極材が、X線回折における格子面(002面)のd値が0.335〜0.34nmであり、且つ結晶子サイズ(Lc)が30nm以上の炭素材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の非水系電解
液二次電池。
【請求項6】 負極材が、X線回折における格子面(002面)のd値が0.335〜0.337nmであり、且つ結晶子サイズ(Lc)が50nm以上の炭素材料からなることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の非水系電解液二次電池。
【請求項7】 請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の非水系電解液二次電池に用いる非水系電解液。

1. A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery composed of at least a negative electrode containing graphite as a negative electrode material capable of occluding and releasing lithium, a positive electrode, and an electrolytic solution obtained by dissolving a lithium salt in a non-aqueous solvent. In α-hydroxy, the non-aqueous solvent is a mixed non-aqueous solvent containing a cyclic carbonate and a chain carbonate, and the non-aqueous solvent has a structure represented by the following general formula (1) of 0.1 to 10% by weight. The mixed non-aqueous solvent comprises a cyclic carbonate selected from the group consisting of an alkylene carbonate having 2 to 4 carbon atoms in an alkylene group and a group consisting of a dialkyl carbonate having an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to claim 2, wherein each of the selected chain carbonates is contained in an amount of 20% by volume or more, and 70% by volume or more of the mixed non-aqueous solvent is these carbonates.

The negative electrode material is at least one selected from the group consisting of a negative electrode material consisting only of graphite, or a non-graphite carbon, lithium, lithium alloy, and a metal oxide capable of occluding and releasing lithium. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the negative electrode material is a mixture of graphite and graphite.
5. The negative electrode material contains a carbon material having a d value of a lattice plane (002 plane) of 0.335 to 0.34 nm and a crystallite size (Lc) of 30 nm or more in X-ray diffraction. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to any one of claims 1 to 4.
6. The negative electrode material is made of a carbon material having a lattice plane (002 plane) having a d value of 0.335 to 0.337 nm and a crystallite size (Lc) of 50 nm or more in X-ray diffraction. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to claim 5.
7. The nonaqueous electrolyte used in the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to any one of claims 1 to 6.
