In the case of the heat exchanger with the mounting bracket as described above, when the joining portion 8 of the mounting bracket 1 is brazed to a part of the outer peripheral surface of the header 5, the header is used. It is necessary to position the mounting bracket 1 with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the header 5 (temporarily fixing the mounting bracket 1 to a desired position on the outer peripheral surface of the header 5).
In this case, since the outer peripheral surface of the header 5 is merely a cylindrical surface, the temporary fixing of the mounting bracket 1 is performed by, for example, engaging a part of the mounting bracket 1 with the outer peripheral surface of the header 5. Can not. Therefore, conventionally, the mounting bracket 1 is temporarily fixed in a state where the joining portion 8 is in contact with a part of the outer peripheral surface of the header 5.
Spot welding such as argon welding is performed between the leading edge of the header 5 and the outer peripheral surface of the header 5. However, it is not preferable to perform such spot welding because it complicates the joining operation and increases the manufacturing cost. Note that, in addition to the mounting bracket 1 schematically shown in FIG.
For example, Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 6-281385 is known, but in the case of any of these mounting brackets, the spot welding as described above is necessary when the bracket is temporarily fixed to the header. The header for a heat exchanger with a mounting bracket according to the present invention is designed to solve the above-mentioned disadvantages.

In the case of the heat exchanger with the mounting bracket of the present invention constructed as described above, when the contact portion between the mounting bracket and the header is brazed, the mounting bracket is temporarily fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the header. Then, the contact part which forms the joint part of the mounting bracket contacts a part of the outer peripheral surface of the header. At the same time, the engaging protrusion or the engaging recess provided on at least one of the inner surface of the other end of the contact portion and the inner surface of the other end of the pressing portion is engaged with the engaging recess or the engagement provided on the outer peripheral surface of the header. In the state of being engaged with the convex portion, the other end of the contact portion and the other end of the pressing portion elastically hold the header from the opposite side in the diameter direction. In this state, the mounting bracket is prevented from being displaced in the axial direction and the circumferential direction with respect to the header based on the engagement between the engaging projection and the engaging recess.
Since the inner peripheral surface of the other end of the contact portion and the inner peripheral surface of the other end of the pressing portion are elastically in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the header, respectively, the engaging convex portion and the engaging concave portion are provided. Does not accidentally come off. For this reason, in the case of the present invention, even if spot welding is not performed on a contact portion between the mounting bracket and the outer peripheral surface of the header, the positioning of the mounting bracket with respect to the header is performed in a state where the mounting bracket is securely positioned. Can be temporarily fixed.

A hemispherical engaging projection 16 similar to that formed on the inner surface of each of the linear portions 17, 17 is formed on the inner surface of the distal end portion (the upper surface in FIGS. 1 and 3) of the second linear portion 19. are doing. In the free state of the mounting bracket 10, the inner side surface of the second linear portion 19 and each of the linear portions 17,
The (over distance in the vertical direction in FIG. 1, 3) W distance between the inner surface 17 is set smaller (W <D 5) than the outer diameter D 5 of the header 5. In this case, in the case of the present example, the above-described holding unit 1 is used.
The reason why 5 is formed in an L-shape is to increase the amount of elastic deformation of the holding portion 15 so that the holding portion 15 is not plastically deformed when assembled to the header 5 described later.

At this time, the distal end of the second linear portion 19 constituting the holding portion 15 is elastically deformed outward in the diametrical direction of the header 5, and the header 5 is brought into contact with the first contact portions 13, 13.
And between the second contact portions 14, 14 and the pressing portion 15. Then, in a state where the header 5 has been advanced to the state shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the first contact portions 13 and 13 and the second contact portions 14 and 14
The inner side surfaces of the above-mentioned parts abut almost entirely over the outer peripheral surface of the header 5. At the same time, the engaging projections 16, 16 formed on the inner surface of each of the linear portions 17, 17 and the inner surface of the distal end of the second linear portion 19, respectively, engage with each of the engaging portions formed on the outer peripheral surface of the header 5. The recesses 22 are engaged with each other. Further, in this state, the distal end of each of the first contact portions 13 and 13 and the distal end of the pressing portion 15 elastically hold the header 5 from the opposite side in the diameter direction. For this reason, each of the engaging projections 16,
The engagement between the engagement recesses 16 and the engagement recesses 22 and 22 does not accidentally come off.

As described above, the mounting bracket 10 assembled to the outer peripheral surface of the header 5 is attached to the header 5 based on the engagement between the engaging projections 16 and 16 and the engaging recesses 22 and 22. Inadvertent displacement is prevented in the axial direction and the circumferential direction. Therefore, the mounting bracket 10 can be temporarily fixed while the positioning of the mounting bracket 10 with respect to the header 5 is reliably performed. Therefore, in the case of the heat exchanger with the mounting bracket of the present embodiment, the mounting bracket 1
The work of temporarily fixing 0 to the outer peripheral surface of the header 5 is performed by elastically fitting the joint portion 11 of the mounting bracket 10 to the header 5 without performing spot welding as in the above-described conventional case. Just do it easily. Therefore, the efficiency of the temporary fixing work of the mounting bracket 10 can be improved, and the manufacturing cost of the heat exchanger can be reduced.
