【発明の実施の形態】
以下に本発明について詳細に説明する。本発明を構成する一成分である繊維質基材は、好ましくは、適度の厚みと充実感を有し、かつ柔軟な風合いを有する極細繊維からなるもので、従来からの皮革様シートを構成している各種の極細繊維からなる繊維質基材を使用することができる。ここで言う極細繊維からなる繊維質基材とは、２種以上の高分子物質からなる海島型の混合紡糸繊維または海島型の複合紡糸繊維の海成分を有機溶剤またはアルカリ水溶液等により抽出または分解して除去し極細繊維化された不織布、編織物などの繊維質基材である。海島型の海成分と島成分とは、繊維の横断面のある部分において成分Ａを成分Ｂが完全に取り囲んでいる場合、Ａをその部分における島成分といい、Ｂを海成分という。但し上記成分Ａが成分Ｂによって完全に取り囲まれることなくＡの一部が繊維外面に露出している場合も、このＡを島成分に含める。また成分Ａは２種類以上の高分子物質であってもよい。繊維の海成分および島成分を構成する高分子物質としては、ナイロン６、ナイロン６１０、ナイロン６６、変性ナイロンなどのポリアミド類、ポリエチレンテレフタレートやポリブチレンテレフタレートなどのポリエステル類および変性ポリエステル類、ポリエチレン、ポリスチレン、ポリプロピレンなどのポリオレフィン類、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ポリメタクリル酸エステル、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリウレタンエラストマーなどの中からトルエン、パークレンなどの有機溶剤またはアルカリ水溶液に対する溶解性、分解性の異なる２種または２種以上の物質を選び使用することができる。これらの中でも特に海成分がポリエチレンまたはポリスチレン、島成分がポリアミドまたはポリエステルからなる繊維を用いると、海成分の除去が容易であり、得られる皮革様シートの風合いや耐久性が優れるため好ましい。
