Description
Descrizione dell'invenzione avente per titolo: Description of the invention entitled:
"GRANULATO FERTILIZZANTE CON BATTERI LEGANTI AZOTO" "FERTILIZING GRANULES WITH NITROGEN BINDING BACTERIA"
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a material which serves as a fertilizer, soil adjuvant substance, cultivation substrate or plant aid.
The use of this material in agriculture ensures high productivity and quality security is therefore no longer to be ignored from the economic point of view of this sector of the economy.
On the other hand, it is known, however, that the massive use of fertilizers in recent decades has led to damage to the soil, which was remedied primarily by further increasing the supply of fertilizer. The consequence was a destruction of the ecological equilibrium of the soil and a washout of the mineral materials contained in the soil, as well as the threat of underground water, especially by means of nitrates.
It is therefore a necessity and task of the present invention, to reduce the nitrogen supply through fertilizer, to reduce the nitrate load and yet guarantee the maintenance of useful plants with nitrogen, in order not to have to give up the adjuvant action of nitrogen growth on useful plants. .
This task is solved by the fact that a material which serves as fertilizer, soil adjuvant, growing medium or plant aid contains nitrogen-binding bacteria.
Such nitrogen-binding bacteria are themselves naturally available in healthy soil to some extent and carry nitrogen in an assimilable form for plants. In damaged soil or intensive use, on the other hand, nitrogen-binding bacteria are not sufficiently available in the soil and the nitrogen supplied by fertilizer cannot be accumulated, to be absorbed by the plant in case of need, but is washed away in the form of nitrate from the soil. Through the production of nitrogen-binding bacteria with the material according to the invention, the plant separates in case of need of nitrogen sugar, carbon hydrates, etc., with which the nitrogen-binding bacteria are nourished, and these return nitrogen to the plant; consequently, no washout can be achieved. In over-fertilized soils the nitrogen supply can be greatly reduced - up to the renunciation -, since the bacteria supplied with the material according to the invention (granulate), make available for the plant the nutrients found in the soil, in which occasion at the same time we arrive at a remediation of the soil.
The material is preferably found as granules, which brings nitrogen-containing bacteria to its surface. In this form, the material can simply be introduced into the soil and an immediate effectiveness of the bacteria in their nitrogen binding function is ensured.
Come batteri leganti azoto vengono adoperati Azospirillum, Azotobacter e/o Azotobacteraceae . Azospirillum, Azotobacter and / or Azotobacteraceae are used as nitrogen-binding bacteria.
According to the invention, the material may further contain dextrin as a binder and nutrient of bacteria, through which good adhesion and a sufficient quantity of bacteria are ensured.
The invention further relates to a process for producing a material that serves as a fertilizer, soil adjuvant, growing medium or plant aid, as described above, in which a solution containing nitrogen-binding bacteria and the granulate is subsequently not subjected to any drying process.
In prove venne applicato su un granulato tradizionale cioè soluzione nutritiva con batteri leganti azoto, descritto come segue: In tests it was applied on a traditional granulate that is a nutrient solution with nitrogen-binding bacteria, described as follows:
Il granulato aveva in questo istante una temperatura di circa 40°C. the granulate which is made up of various very finely ground rock minerals (about 2/3 part by weight) as well as 3 clayey mineral-layers (about 1/3 part by weight) as well as a small part of magnesium oxide. In addition, 2% dextrin was mixed as a binder for this granulate. After mixing and through the water supply follows the granulation (pelletization). This granulate is carried over an oscillation dryer, where a heating of the granulate of about 200 ° C is achieved. Then a cooling and a following sieving takes place. The granulate at this moment had a temperature of about 40 ° C.
Questa soluzione nutritiva consiste in acqua zuccherata con arricchimento delle seguenti sostanze nutritive: After sieving, a nutrient solution with nitrogen-binding bacteria was sprayed over the granulate. This nutrient solution consists of sugared water with enrichment of the following nutrients:
Dopo alcuni giorni dato un buon aumento venne diluito il liquido con circa 2/3 di acqua, e fu immesso con spruzzatura sopra il granulato. magnesium, sodium, iron, copper, zinc, manganese and concentrated molybdenum, all of which were first broken down with an acetic acid (acetate). Nitrogen-binding bacteria were added by multiplication to this nutrient solution at a temperature of about 25 ° C. After a few days, given a good increase, the liquid was diluted with about 2/3 of water, and it was sprayed onto the granulate.
After application over the granulate and due to its still raised temperature, a further increase in nitrogen-binding bacteria followed. Stabilization of the nitrogen-binding bacteria is ensured through the dextrin found in the granules until application.
The granulate thus produced was used experimentally for fertilization in the cultivation of entire agricultural crops and showed good effects on the quality of the fruit, the quantity of the harvest, and an improvement in the quality of the soil.
