TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a box-like container or packaging.

More particularly, the invention relates to a box-like container, for example for containing and / or transporting objects, formed by a cup-shaped container, for example lower, closed (at the top) by a lid, in which the container is preferably cup and lid are individually made from a (monolithic) sheet, which is suitably punched (or shaped by cutting) and folded.

PRE-EXISTING TECHNIQUE

As is known in the field of packaging, the need is felt to pack and contain, for transport or simply for packaging, objects, for example cylindrical objects, such as bottles, confectionery products (such as panettone or pandoro or cakes or the like) or any object known.

In addition, the need is felt to create box-shaped containers intended to contain objects, for example intended for sale, which are increasingly attractive to the consumer and, at the same time, enable a high degree of customization and distinctiveness on the market.

An object of the present invention is to meet and satisfy these needs of the known art, within the context of a simple, rational, pleasantly aesthetic and low cost solution.

These purposes are achieved by the characteristics of the invention reported in the independent claim. The dependent claims outline preferred and / or particularly advantageous aspects of the invention.

EXHIBITION OF THE INVENTION

The invention, in particular, makes available a cup-shaped container that is made from a first monolithic sheet punched and folded so as to configure:

- a first tubular skirt folded on itself around a first central axis, e

- a plurality of first petals which depart from an axial end of the first tubular skirt and which are folded towards the first central axis so as to be at least partially superimposed on each other and mutually interlocked to define as a whole a first closing wall of said axial end of the first tubular mantle.

Thanks to this solution it is possible to satisfy the needs of the prior art by means of a rational, elegant and interesting solution for the consumer. Advantageously, the number of said first petals can be greater than or equal to five (even more preferably greater than or equal to 6 and, advantageously, an even number).

Still, an aspect of the invention provides that the first shell can be substantially cylindrical with a substantially circular section and, for example, each first petal can be joined to the first shell by means of a respective first curved fold with concavity facing a free end of the respective first petal (or on the opposite side).

Thanks to this solution, the first closing wall has an overall concave conformation with concavity facing the outside of the cup container (or towards the inside of it)

Alternatively, the first shell can be prismatic with a substantially polygonal section, preferably with a number of sides greater than or equal to 5 (even more preferably greater than or equal to 6 and, advantageously, an even number), for example - in this case - the first skirt can comprise side faces helically wound around the first central axis.

A further aspect of the invention, for the same purposes set out above, makes available a lid that is made from a second monolithic sheet punched and folded so as to configure:

- a second tubular skirt folded on itself around a second central axis; And

- a plurality of second petals which depart from an axial end of the second tubular shell and which are folded towards the second central axis so as to be at least partially superimposed on each other and mutually interlocked to define as a whole a second closing wall of said axial end of the second tubular mantle.

Advantageously, the number of said second petals is greater than or equal to five (even more preferably greater than or equal to 6 and, advantageously, an even number).

Furthermore, each second petal can overlap in contact with at least a portion of a second petal adjacent to it.

Still, an aspect of the invention provides that the second shell can be substantially cylindrical with a substantially circular section and, for example, each second petal can be joined to the second shell by means of a respective second curved fold with concavity facing a free end of the respective second petal (or on the opposite side).

Thanks to this solution, the second closing wall has an overall concave conformation with concavity facing the outside of the lid (or towards the inside of it).

Alternatively, the second shell can be prismatic with a substantially polygonal section, preferably with a number of sides greater than or equal to 5, and for example, the second shell can comprise helically wound faces around the second central axis.

Furthermore, the second central axis can intersect a perimeter edge of each of the second petals at a central point of this perimeter edge and / or each second petal can comprise a rounded free end.

Another aspect of the invention, for the same purposes as the invention, makes available a box-like container which includes:

a glass vessel, as described above; And

a lid, as described above;

wherein the second shell of the lid is adapted to be coaxially inserted on or from the first shell of the cup-shaped vessel, substantially to size, through the respective free (open) ends.

BEST WAY TO IMPLEMENT THE INVENTION

With particular reference to these figures, the numeral 10 generally designates a box-like container, for example suitable for containing one or more objects of substantially cylindrical shape.

The box-like container 10 comprises, in particular, a cup-shaped container 20, essentially constituted by a first tubular shell 21, substantially cylindrical or prismatic, centered on a first central axis A and equipped with an open end 210 and an opposite closed end 211 which it is occluded by a first bottom wall 22 of the cup-shaped vessel itself.

In practice, the first wall 22 is peripherally surrounded by the first shell 21 which closes in a ring by means of assembly members, as will be better described below.

The cup-shaped container 20 is composed of a first sheet 200 (see Figures 9 and 14), for example monolithic (and sheet-like), which is suitably punched, or shaped by cutting, and folded so as to define the aforementioned cup-shaped container 20.

The first sheet 200, preferably but not limitedly, is made of a cellulosic-based material, such as cardboard or cardboard or other material that is sufficiently flexible and robust and suitable to be cut and folded, and is obtained for example by punching a continuous plate of the material with which the first sheet 200 itself is made.

By means of the die-cutting of the continuous sheet, in addition to the external edges (cut) of the first sheet 200, also possible passing or non-passing incisions in certain areas of the body itself to define localized notches (as will become clearer below) and / or localized longitudinal pressures for to produce lines with predetermined folds which favor and guide the folding of the first sheet (as will be better described in the following and which are illustrated in the figures as broken lines).

In detail, the first sheet 200 comprises a main flap 201 (see Figures 9 and 14) intended to define the first skirt 21 when folded around a first central axis A and gathered at the opposite circumferential ends of the same.

The main flap 201 has, for example, a substantially elongated quadrangular shape, in which the two short sides define the opposite circumferential ends of the first skirt 21 and one of the two long sides defines the open end 210 of the first skirt 21.

From the other of the long sides, for example for the entire length thereof, a plurality of first shaped petals 202 branch off, which are joined to the main flap 201 by means of a first hinge fold 203, or a line with a predetermined fold obtained by a deformation and / or discontinuous cutting of the first sheet 200.

The first suitably shaped petals 202 can be folded (during the formation of the first mantle 21 around the first central axis A) towards the first central axis A, around the respective first folds 203, so as to be at least partially overlapped with each other and mutually interlocked. defining as a whole the first bottom wall 21 of the cup-shaped vessel 20.

The first folds 203 that join each first petal to the main flap 201 define the closed end 211 of the first skirt 21 and, for example, are all the same.

In detail, the first sheet 200 comprises a number greater than or equal to 5 of first petals 202 (even more preferably greater than or equal to 6 and, advantageously, an even number), in the example in the number of 6 and, preferably, different between They.

This last first petal 202 <IV> also has a shape substantially like an isosceles trapezoid whose major base is defined by the respective first fold 203 and whose minor base is prolonged by a rectangular extension flap substantially complementary to the central loop of the first petal 202 <I> central. To make the first bottom wall 22 of the cup 20 which closes the closed end 211 of the first shell 21 it is therefore possible to proceed by first folding each first petal 202 around its first fold 203, for example by a substantially right angle or by slightly greater (or less) than the right angle.

During the ring closure of the first skirt 21 around the first central axis A (see Figures 9a-9d and Figure 4) the first petals 202 are partially superimposed on each other according to a predetermined pattern in order to be able to close the closed end 211 of the first skirt 21 and thus defining the first wall 22.

For example, it is possible to follow the scheme whereby each of the two first petals 202 <II> adjacent to the first central 202 <I> petal are axially interposed between this first central 202 <I> petal and the closest of the further two first petals 202 <III> and, finally, the last first petal 202 <IV> is such as to be closed on these two first petals 202 <II> adjacent to the first central petal 202 <I> and its extension flap inserted within the central loop of the first central 202 <I> petal, effectively clamping the entire stack of first petals 202.

In a second embodiment shown in Figures 10-14, the first shell 21 is substantially hollow prismatic with a polygonal cross-section (obtained by bending - with yielding - of the main flap 201 of the first sheet 200 around a first central axis A parallel to the short sides of the same). In particular, the main flap 201 comprises a plurality of longitudinal hinge folds 204, i.e. each defined by a line with a predetermined fold obtained by means of a deformation and / or a discontinuous cut of the first sheet 200, between which lateral faces of the first sheet are defined. 21 prismatic mantle.

The longitudinal folds 204 are for example straight and parallel to each other (and equidistant).

For example, each longitudinal fold 204 extends (without interruption) longitudinally from the long side that defines the open end 210 of the first skirt 21 to the long side that defines the closed end 211 of the first skirt itself, where it crosses an end of a respective first fold 203. In particular, each longitudinal fold 204 is inclined at an angle different from the right angle with respect to the first central axis A.

In this way, when the first sheet 200 is wound on itself in a ring to shape the first tubular shell 21, the lateral faces of the first prismatic shell 21 itself are substantially wound in a helix around the first central axis A (so that the bases of the prism are in fact offset relative to each other around the first central axis A, for example with the vertices in any case aligned in plan).

In the example, the assembly members which maintain and lock the first shell 21 in tubular form are for example made of at least one tongue 214, protruding in a circumferential direction from a circumferential end of the first shell 21 (i.e. a short side of the main flap 201 of the first sheet 200), which is joined to the main flap 201 by means of a respective longitudinal hinge fold 204, as described above, and which is adapted to be fixed to the opposite circumferential end of the first skirt 21 (i.e. the short side of the flap 201 of the first opposite sheet 200), for example by applying a glue or adhesive.

As mentioned above, the assembly members of the second embodiment provide for the use of an adhesive, it is not excluded, however, that said assembly members of the second embodiment may be free of any glue, and be assembly members for interlocking or interference entirely similar to those envisaged for the first embodiment described above.

Furthermore, in this second embodiment each first fold 203 is straight.

Furthermore, further tabs can be provided at the long side of the main flap 201 which defines the open end 210 of the first skirt 21, each of which is joined to the main flap 201 by a hinged fold line parallel to the first fold 203 and delimited longitudinally by the end of two adjacent longitudinal folds 204. These tabs can each be folded onto the respective side face inside the first prismatic shell 21.

To make the first bottom wall 22 of the cup-shaped container 20 which closes the closed end 211 of the first shell 21, it is therefore possible to proceed by first bending each first petal 202 around its first fold 203, for example at a substantially right angle.

During the ring closure of the first skirt 21 around the first central axis A (see Figures 13a-13d), obtained by bending (by 60 °) the main flap around each of the longitudinal folds 204, the first petals 202 are partially overlapped one to the other according to a predetermined scheme in order to be able to stably close the closed end 211 of the first shell 21 and thus define the first wall 22.

The box-like container 10 also comprises a lid 30, essentially consisting of a second tubular shell 31, substantially cylindrical or prismatic, centered on a second central axis B and provided with an open end 310 and an opposite closed end 311 which is occluded by a second top wall 32 of the lid itself.

In practice, the second wall 32 is peripherally surrounded by the second shell 31 which closes in a ring by means of assembly members, as will be better described below.

The lid 30 is composed of a second sheet 300 (see Figures 8 and 13), for example monolithic (and sheet-like), which is suitably punched, or shaped by cutting, and folded so as to define the aforementioned lid 30. The second sheet 300, preferably but not limitedly, is made of a cellulose-based material, such as cardboard or cardboard or other material that is sufficiently flexible and robust and suitable to be cut and folded, and is for example obtained by punching a continuous sheet of the material with which the second sheet 300 itself is made.

Through the die-cutting of the continuous plate, in addition to the external edges (cut) of the second sheet 300, also possible through or non-passing incisions in specific areas of the body itself to define localized notches (as will become clearer below) and / or localized longitudinal pressures for to produce lines with predetermined folds which favor and guide the folding of the second sheet (as will be better described below and which are illustrated in the figures as broken lines).

The second petals 302, suitably shaped, can be folded (during the formation of the second mantle 31 around the second central axis B) towards the second central axis B, around the respective second folds 303, so as to be at least partially superimposed on each other and mutually interlocked. collectively define the second top wall 31 of the lid 30. The second folds 303 which join each first petal to the main flap 301 define the closed end 311 of the second skirt 31 and, for example, are all the same.

In detail, the second sheet 300 comprises a number greater than or equal to 5 of second petals 302 (even more preferably greater than or equal to 6 and, advantageously, an even number), in the example 6 and preferably all ( substantially) equal to each other.

Each second petal 302 has a substantially triangular or in any case tapered shape from the end constrained to the main flap 301 (by means of the respective second fold 303) to its free end, as will be better described below.

In a first embodiment shown in Figures 1-9, the second shell 31 is substantially hollow cylindrical (obtained by folding - without yielding - of the main flap 301 of the second sheet 300 around the second central axis B parallel to the short sides of the same) .

The internal (minimum) diameter of the second skirt 31 of the lid 30 is substantially equal to or slightly greater than the external (maximum) diameter of the first skirt 21 of the cup-shaped vessel 20 of the first embodiment shown in Figures 1-9.

The vertex of each second petal 302 is eccentric with respect to the center of the circumference defined by the arc of the circumference on which the respective second fold 303 lies.

In other words, each second petal 302 comprises lateral edges which have an asymmetrical profile with respect to a plane orthogonal to the main flap 302 and median with respect to the respective second fold 303.

In practice, each second petal 302 comprises a substantially straight perimeter edge (left in figure 8) and an opposite perimeter edge (right) equipped, near the vertex, with a curved profile ("C") with concavity facing the exterior of the second petal itself, in practice this curved profile defining a gap in the second petal 302.

Preferably, the center of the circumference defined by the arc of circumference on which the respective second fold 303 lies is placed on a central point of this curved profile of the perimeter (right) edge.

In other words, each second petal 302 - as described above - defines a substantially hooked vertex.

To create the second top wall 32 of the lid 30 which closes the closed end 311 of the second shell 31 it is therefore possible to proceed by first folding each second petal 302 around its second fold 303, for example by a substantially right angle.

During the ring closure of the first skirt 21 around the first central axis A (see Figures 8a-8f) the second petals 302 are partially superimposed on each other according to a predetermined pattern in order to be able to close the closed end in a stable manner 311 of the second shell 31 and therefore define the second wall 32.

For example, it is possible to follow the scheme whereby each second petal 302 is partially superimposed on the adjacent one, in fact rotating each second petal 302 by about 60 ° around the second central axis B, starting from one of the second extremal petals 302.

In practice, this rotation brings each second petal 302 to touch the second petal 302 adjacent to it, for example at the aforementioned central point of the curved profile of the perimeter (right) edge, which therefore coincides with the second central axis B o, in other words, the second central axis B intersects the perimeter (right) edge of each of the second petals 302 at a central point of the curved profile of that perimeter (right) edge.

The shape of the second shell 31 (and / or of the second wall 32) of the lid 30 of this second embodiment is substantially homologous (and complementary) to the shape of the first shell 21 (and / or of the first wall 22) of the beaker 20 of the second embodiment. In practice, the internal (minimum) diagonals of the second skirt 31 of the lid 30 are substantially equal to or slightly higher than the external (maximum) diagonals of the first skirt 21 of the cup-shaped vessel 20 of the second embodiment shown in Figures 1-9.

Furthermore, in this second embodiment each second fold 303 is straight.

Furthermore, further tabs can be provided at the long side of the main flap 301 which defines the open end 310 of the second skirt 31, each of which is joined to the main flap 301 by a hinged fold line parallel to the second fold 303 and longitudinally bounded by the end of two adjacent longitudinal folds 304. In this second embodiment, with particular reference to Figure 13, each second petal 302 has a substantially triangle shape (scalene, for example a rectangle) with one end constrained to the main pitch 302, which defines the base of the triangle, defined by the respective second fold 303 and a free vertex end, opposite the base, substantially rounded.

Each second petal 302 comprises lateral edges which have an asymmetrical profile with respect to a plane orthogonal to the main flap 302 and median with respect to the respective second fold 303.

In practice, each second petal 302 comprises a perimeter edge (left in the figure) substantially rectilinear and inclined by an acute angle (less than 60 °) with respect to the respective second fold 303 and an opposite perimeter edge (right) also straight and in square with the respective second fold 303. The center of the vertex rounding half-circumference is interposed between the perimeter edge (left) and the opposite perimeter edge (right).

Between the semi-circumference of the vertex rounding and the perimeter (left) edge, a central point is defined on the perimeter (left) edge, which is in fact a cusp point.

In other words, each second petal 302 - as described above - defines a substantially hooked vertex (defined by this cusp point).

Between the perimeter edge (left) of a second petal 302 and the opposite perimeter edge (right) of a second petal 302 adjacent 302) there is a band with longitudinal development parallel to the second folds 303, which is joined to the respective second petals by lines folding (opposite), respectively parallel and coincident with the perimeter edges of the second petals 302 which delimit.

A last band with longitudinal development parallel to the second folds 303 departs from the perimeter (left) edge of the last second petal 302 of the series, for example joined to it by means of a respective fold line.

To create the second top wall 32 of the lid 30 which closes the closed end 311 of the second shell 31, it is therefore possible to proceed by first bending each second petal 302 around its second fold 303, for example by a substantially right angle.

During the ring closure of the second skirt 31 around the first central axis A (see Figures 13a-13f), obtained by bending (by 60 °) the main flap 301 around each of the longitudinal folds 304, the second petals 302 are partially superimposed on each other according to a predetermined scheme in order to be able to stably close the closed end 311 of the first shell 31 and thus define the second wall 32.

For example, it is possible to follow the pattern whereby each second petal 302 is partially superimposed on the adjacent one, effectively rotating each second petal 302 by about 60 ° around the second central axis B, starting from one of the second extremal petals 302.

In practice, this rotation brings each second petal 302 to touch the second petal 302 adjacent to it, for example at the aforementioned central point (of the cusp) of the perimeter (left) edge, which therefore coincides with the second central axis B or , in other words, the second central axis B intersects the perimeter (left) edge of each of the second petals 302 at a central (cusp) point of the perimeter (left) edge.

The longitudinal bands are folded between the various second petals 302 and the last longitudinal band is folded under at least one of the second petals 302 and fixed there, for example by glue.

In this second embodiment, the union between the second petals 302 to define the second wall 32 of the lid is, as mentioned, made with the auxiliary application of an adhesive.

It is not excluded, however, that the union between the second petals 302 to define the first wall 32 of the lid 30 of the second embodiment can be achieved without the addition of glue and, therefore, exclusively by interlocking or interference.

The box-shaped container 10, therefore, is adapted to be assembled by joining the cup-shaped container 20 with the respective lid 30.

In particular, it is sufficient to fit the second skirt 31 of the lid 30 coaxially on the first skirt 21 of the beaker 20 (homologous), substantially made to measure to close the container (see Figures 5-7 for the first embodiment).

For example, the lid 30 is able to be completely inserted into the cup-shaped container 20, for example - as illustrated for the first embodiment (see Figures 5-7) - until the open end 210 of the first shell 21 of the cup-shaped vessel 20 meets the second top wall 32 of the lid 30.

As regards the second embodiment, the closing and opening of the box-like container 10 could take place by reciprocal roto-translation (screwing-unscrewing) between the lid 30 and the cup-shaped container 20.

In the example, the cup 20 in this case is able to be completely inserted (retractable) inside the lid 30, for example until the first wall 21 of the cup 20 is substantially level with the open end 310 of the second skirt 31 of the lid 30.

The invention thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the inventive concept.

Furthermore, all the details can be replaced by other technically equivalent elements. In practice, the materials used, as well as the contingent shapes and dimensions, may be any according to requirements without thereby departing from the scope of the protection of the following claims.
