Abstract

1512513 Cartons JOHN WADDINGTON Ltd 2 June 1975 [21 June 1974] 27559/74 Heading B8P A carton, similar to that described in Specification 1,317,667 in which the carton body has the appearance of being twisted, has axial portions at its top and bottom edges formed by fold lines 16A, 18A, the blank from which the carton is folded also having two axial fold lines so that the carton can be folded to flat form. This construction facilitates the folding of the blank on a machine. The blanks has a glue tab along one side edge to form the usual manufacturer's joint. The carton may be of hexaagonal, triangular, square, pentagonal, septagonal, or octagonal shape. The carton ends may be closed by flaps for example, of rosette or may have ridges to receive separate caps.
