Abstract

La lente oftalmica multifocale progressiva comprende una superficie asferica costituita da una porzione di visione a distanza, una porzione di visione ravvicinata e una porzione di visione intermedia, dove il valore massimo del gradiente della sfera media è situato nella porzione di visione intermedia del meridiano principale di progressione della lente, e il gradiente del cilindro su tutta la superficie asferica della lente, è inferiore al prodotto ottenuto moltiplicando il valore di addizione di potenza in ogni punto con un coefficiente costante.(FIGG. 2, 3).
