Abstract

Dischi e ruote tessili per operazioni di levigatura/lucidatura di superfici sono impregnate con una soluzione di resina contenente polvere abrasiva in sospensione. Dopo impregnazione sottovuoto e centrifugazione, i dischi e le ruote tessili impregnate sono trattate in forno per polimerizzare la resina. L'inglobamento di polvere abrasiva nella resina di impregnazione, fornisce una fonte di materiale abradente nella zona di lavoro nella ruota o disco, supplendo al depauperamento di pasta abrasiva nell'intervallo tra applicazioni successive di pasta. Ciò consente un grande risparmio di pasta abrasiva ed aumenta la durata dei dischi tessili.
