Abstract

Un elastomero di un polimero di una acrilato contenente un'unità di un estere acrilico come componente costitutivo e una composizione vulcanizzabile di un elastomero e un agente vulcanizzante. Si ottiene l'elastomero di un polimero di acrilato facendo copolimerizzare (a) 45-89,9% in peso di un monomero di formula (FORMULA I) in cui R1 è un gruppo alchile avente da 1 a 8 atomi di carbonio e/o un monomero di formula (FORMULA II) in cui R2 è un gruppo alchilene avente da 1 a 8 atomi di carbonio e R3 un gruppo alchile avente da 1 a 8 atomi di carbonio (b) 10-35% in peso di un monomero di formula (FORMULA 3) in cui R4 è un atomo di idrogeno oppure un gruppo metile, R5 un atomo di idrogeno oppure un gruppo di un idrocarburo avente da 1 a 4 atomi di carbonio e n un numero intero compreso tra 1 e 5, (c) 0,1-10% in peso di un monomero reticolabile, e (d) 0-30% in peso di un monomero monoetilenicamente insaturo, copolimerizzabile con i componenti (a), (b) e (c). Un vulcanizzato ottenuto dalla composizione vulcanizzabile ha una migliorata resistenza alle basse temperature e agli oli e è eccellente per l'equilibrio di entrambe le caratteristiche.
