Abstract

Composizioni energetiche di scarto come propellente solido per razzi vengono trattate in modo da recuperare particelle di alluminio in una forma in cui possano venire reimpiegate per il medesimo scopo e per convertire i valori di idrocarburi del legante ad un prodotto oleoso utile, liscivando via l'ossidante e riscaldando il legante caricato di alluminio in una atmosfera non ossidante. La risultante piroscissione provoca lo sviluppo dei componenti oleosi come vapore che viene allontanato, condensato e raccolto per l'impiego come olio avente proprietà simili a quelle dell'olio diesel, lasciando come residuo le particelle di alluminio nella medesima forma in cui sono state usate nella preparazione originale della composizione che ora viene trattata come scarto.
