Abstract

Un catalizzatore attivo nella polimerizzazione delle alfa-olefine è formato da:(a) un derivato bis-(ciclopentadienil) bis(ammide) di un elemento del gruppo IVB della tavola periodica degli elementi, definibile con la formula: (FORMULA I) dove M rappresenta un metallo del gruppo IVB, ciascuno tra R1, R2, R3 e R4, e Cp hanno il significato riportato nelle descrizioni, e (b) un co-catalizzatore di alluminossano.Questo catalizzatore trova impiego nei procedimenti di polimerizzazione e di copolimerizzazione dell'etilene e delle altre alfa-olefine.
