Abstract

Un tubo per trasmissione di calore avente nervature e solchi interni per migliorare la capacità di trasmettere calore del tubo. Le nervature possono avere sezione trasversale sostanzialmente triangolare oppure sostanzialmente rettangolare, ma hanno fasce di valori specifici per parametri critici delle nervature e dei solchi. Diversamente dalla maggioranza dei tubi ampliati secondo la tecnica nota, le nervature non sono elicoidali, ma corrono sostanzialmente parallele all'asse longitudinale del tubo, onde minimizzare la resistenza allo scorrimento del fluido attraverso il tubo. In una forma realizzativa preferita, le nervature sono distribuite ad intervalli eguali attorno alla circonferenza interna del tubo ed il tubo è ricavato da rame o cuprolega.
