Abstract
Procedimento di raffinazione pirometallurgico per ottenere uno o entrambi fra zinco e piombo da un concentrato del solfuro, in cui viene formata una scoria ferro-silicato o una scoria ferro-silicato contenente calce ed il concentrato del solfuro, i materiali non combustibili ed un fondente, unitamente ad almeno uno tra ossigeno industriale, aria arricchita con ossigeno, o aria, viene soffiato nella scoria per provocare una reazione; quale risultato della reazione la parte maggiore dello zinco e una parte del piombo nel concentrato del solfuro ed i materiali non combustibili sono disciolti nella scoria, per separare la scoria ed una metallina e/o un metallo da una parte del piombo nel materiale greggio. Un agente riducente come un olio pesante, carbone polverizzato, coke polverizzato, o simili, viene soffiato attraverso la scoria risultante, e lo zinco ed il piombo nella scoria vengono volatilizzati, quindi condensati per ottenere zinco fuso e piombo fuso.
