Abstract

In un procedimento per la regolazione lambda di un motore endotermico con catalizzatore la regolazione viene realizzata in modo che almeno in preassegnati stati di esercizio si verifica una oscillazione di regolazione permanente, la cui ampiezza è possibilmente grande, e tuttavia grande soltanto in modo che non dovrà verificarsi irregolarità di funzionamento del motore endotermico e la quota di conversione media del catalizzatore dovrà rimanere al disopra di un valore di soglia.Questo procedimento si basa sul concetto che aumentando l'ampiezza della oscillazione di regolazione la finestra di conversione diventa più larga, nel presupposto che il catalizzatore risulta ancora in certo qual modo in grado di funzionare.La finestra di conversione è quella intervallo dei valori Lambda, in cui la conversione presenta almeno una qualità preassegnata (figura 1).
