Abstract

Preparazione di clorotrifluoroetilene (CTFE) mediante reazione nota di 1,1,2-tricloro-1,2,2-trifluoroetano (R-113) con polvere di zinco dispersa in un alcool con reazione continua e dolce. Si usano due o tre reattori collegati in serie tra loro mediante tubi di traboccamento. Si alimenta continuamente la dispersione di polvere di zinco ed alcool solo nel primo reattore permettendo alla stessa di traboccare nel successivo e quindi nel restante, e si alimenta continuamente in ciascun reattore R-113. Si scarica continuamente da ciascun reattore CTFE mentre lo zinco nella dispersione iniziale viene gradatamente convertito in cloruro di zinco. Nell'ultimo reattore la conversione di zinco raggiunge il 90%. La soluzione di cloruro di zinco in alcool viene scaricata continuamente dall'ultimo reattore, per il recupero, assieme alla restante polvere di zinco.
