Abstract
Vengono descritte preparazioni farmaceutiche uso orale, a base di acidi biliari, in particolare acido ursodesossicolico, caratterizzate dal fatto che cedono la sostanza attiva in modo controllato e per un periodo esteso (6-12 ore).Detti preparati trovano impiego nella terapia delle calcolosi biliari sia in senso curativo (lisi) che preventivo e permettono di adottare una posologia particolarmente vantaggiosa (monosomministrazione giornaliera).L'effetto ritardo viene ottenuto con geli a base di agar, alginati, gomma adragante, gomma arabica, gomma karaya, polimeri metacrilici. Nella formulazione possono essere compresi tamponi, additivi (sali di calcio, cellulosa, amido), leganti (povidone, metacrilati), lubrificanti (talco, stearati), sostanze filmanti (polimeri metacrilici, derivati cellulosici od altri equivalenti).
