In un cuscinetto a rotolamento per il supporto di alberi spostabili in modo limitato assialmente (15) o simili, consistente in elementi cuscinetto (1, 2) con piste cilindriche o piane (5, 6) e con corpi di rotolamento (4) sistemati nel mezzo in una gabbia (3) una pista (6) viene delimitata da bordi (7) con superfici d'appoggio (8) di preferenza obliqua.Per evitare danneggiamenti dei corpi di rotolamento (4) nella posizione assiale finale di un elemento cuscinetto (1) rispetto all'altro elemento (2), la gabbia (3) possiede almeno da un lato frontale dei segmenti elastici (9), che ingranano in settori ad estensione radiale (10) in una scanalatura (11) dell'uno (2) o dell'altro elemento cuscinetto (1), dove nella posizione assiale finale di un elemento (2) rispetto all'altro (1), i settori ad estensione radiale (10) della gabbia (3) sono sistemati appoggianti sulle superfici laterali (13) della scanalatura (11).(figura 1).
