Abstract

Process for continuous thermal dissociation of wastes, which consists of grinding the wastes, compacting them into granules and introducing the granules and any liquid component together with oxygen into a high temperature incinerator in which the high temperature generated by combustion of the wastes in a saturated oxygen atmosphere causes dissociation of the components with production of heat, the ash and fumes at the output of the furnace being cooled and separated. The system for implementation of the process which comprises a grinding group, a coil press with extruder equipped with a blade head, a furnace consisting of a tubular line with a sinuous course which has a burner in the first section, subsequent to an oxygen input and one for granules and finally a stack for exhaust of the fumes and a chamber for recovery of the ash, means of control being provided for the rate of advance of the granules in the furnace and the oxygen flow, served by a control panel for analysis of the fumes and ash. <IMAGE>
