Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase recovery rate for waste-heat and improve a thermal efficiency of a hot-air furnace by a method wherein a high calory gas having a desired value is burned under a specified high air ratio, and the ratio of the volume of preheating air in an air preheating unit with respect to the volume of waste gas is increased. CONSTITUTION:Calory of M gas is set to 1,300 to 4,600Kcal/Nm<3>, an excess air ratio is set to 1.3-2.0, and a ratio between the volume of preheated air in the air preheater and the volume of waste gas is set to >= about 0.65. Thereby, it is possible to get a high thermal efficiency.
