Abstract
The solar to electrical energy transformer uses several thermocouples in combination with an absorption refrigerating installation. The thermocouples are made from metals whose mechanical and electrical characteristics are most suitable for this particular use. The supply to the absorption refrigerating system comes from the heat produced by the thermocouples. The refrigerating system acts on the thermocouple junctions at which heat develops by Peltier effect. The aim is to reduce as much as possible the temp. and to consequently maintain a high thermal gradient between the hot and cold junction of the thermocouples. A very high generated e.m.f. is obtained and as a consequence of this high electrical power.
