Abstract

The solar heater uses heat collectors (1) through which air is blown by fans with sloping heat collectors (2) attached at the bottom to horizontal air circulating ducts (101). Each duct is divided into two chambers by a diagonal partition (104), and each collector body is covered by a transparent plate (4) to form a space divided into two sections by a partition (102) parallel to the transparent plate. Air blown into one chamber (101a) passes upwards through holes (105) in a cover plate to pass under the transparent plate to the top of the collector, and around the partition (102) then downwards through a layer of heat exchange bodies, through further holes (106) into the second chamber (101b). The first chamber decreases in size in the direction of air flow, while the other increases.
