1531068 Fluorinated esters ASAHI GLASS CO Ltd 10 Dec 1976 [30 Dec 1975] 51718/76 Heading C2C [Also in Division C3] obtained by (i) reacting perfluoro-γ-butyrolactone and methanol, (ii) reacting the resulting methyl (3-fluorocarbonyl)tetrafluoropropionate with hexafluoropropylene oxide to form and (iii) treating this product with Na 2 CO 3 to form the olefinic compound (Example 1). CF 2 =CF.OCF 2 CF(CF 3 )O.CF 2 CF(CF 3 )O.(CF 2 ) 3 - COOCH 3 is prepared in like manner using more hexafluoropropylene oxide (Example 2).
