Abstract
The invention relates to a heating device which makes it possible to increase the calorific output of a fuel/oxidant mixture constituted by means such as baffles (5, 6) which act, by a mechanical process, on the oxidation of the hot gases circulating in the duct by imparting to these friction stresses which are sufficiently high to heat the material of which the duct is constituted and thus increase the temperature of the fuel/oxidant mixture as the latter approaches the outlet of the duct. <IMAGE>
