Abstract

A machine such as a truck 10 comprises a powered loading bucket 12 and measuring means 15 adapted to give a reading of the weight of material in the loading bucket. The measuring means comprises a weight-calibrated pressure gauge operatively associated with a hydraulic circuit in which the hydraulic pressure is a function of the weight of material in the bucket.
