Abstract

In a roof structure a flexible roofing membrane is supported and secured between at least two layers of tensioned flexible elements such as wires or cords. Each layer comprises a number of longitudinal tensioned wires and a number of transverse tensioned wires. The wires are attached to curved anchorage units, and the entire structure is supported on tensioned trellis trusses and purlins. [US3765134A]
