Abstract
A találmány tárgya általánosságban a növényi molekuláris biológiáhozkapcsolódik. A találmány tárgyát közelebbről a Zea mays alternatívoxidáz 1, Zea mays alternatív oxidáz 2 és Zea mays alternatív oxidáz 3(ZmAOX1, ZmAOX2 és ZmAOX3) enzimekkel kapcsolatos nukleinsavak ésproteinek képezik. A találmány tárgyát képezik továbbá a találmányszerinti nukleinsavakat tartalmazó transzgenikus növények, valaminttranszgenikus növényben a találmány szerinti nukleinsavakexpressziójának módosítására szolgáló eljárások. A találmány szerintimegoldás alkalmas kívánt sajátságokkal (pl. fokozott hidegtűrés,fokozott betegség-ellenállás, hímsterilitás, megváltozottmitokondriális proteinexport) bíró transzgenikus haszonnövényekelőállítására.
